First off, I will say that the problem with the set is in what is not included. A very integral part of this scene was Boga, the varactyl that Obi-Wan chased Grievous on, and it is not even included in this set. I get that it was done due to price restrictions and for the ability to make Boga another set of its own. However, I would've paid $50 for the varactyl to be included. What we do get is decent; I had been hoping that the new, movie-version Grievous would look like what we got in the Yoda Chronicles series. Nope, just a repaint of Clone Wars, with weird proportions. Obi-Wan is amazing, now with leg print and better details. The electrostaff is bad; I hoped for trans purple lightsaber hilts, not awkward diamonds. The wheel bike itself is pretty good, just small, which is the set's biggest problem: $25 is too much for what you get. I say build your own, and pocket the money for the summer wave.

Comments about LEGO Star Wars General Grievous' Wheel Bike (75040):

The Wheel Bike is a good set. I'm just getting a bad feeling about this... The set is great! Grievous is awesome, in fact, my favorite mini-fig, and Obi-Wan is okay. The wheel bike has good play ability (hint, use the extra pieces to double the blinking controls, and it looks awesome!). And if you get the sets recommended below, you can get a full battle experience!

Comments about LEGO Star Wars General Grievous' Wheel Bike (75040):

The center wheel and surrounding detail is pretty cool and unique to this model. This is the 2nd generation of this model and in my opinion it surpasses the original by far. I bought 2 just for the pieces. Enjoy

        Utapau Chase

        By ninjakeslegos

        from Palm Bay

Comments about LEGO Star Wars General Grievous' Wheel Bike (75040):

This set contained so many great things, I don't know where to start! A movie accurate General Grievous, Obi-Wan, a new Wheel Bike, and TONS of functions! This is BY FAR the best set released in 2014. Minifigures: Grievous is one of the main reasons I bought this set; I originally hadn't thought of getting it, until my Clone Wars Grievous broke. Then I saw this set: $25, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and a movie accurate Grievous! He his basically exactly the same as the Clone Wars version, just some printing differences, and the color. I defiantly prefer this one to the Clone Wars one. Obi-Wan always is a great Minifig, but this is the best Episode III depiction yet! Complete with a new torso, and accurate Jedi Robe printing on the legs, this Obi-Wan is the best yet. The one thing I don't like about this set, though, is the lack of Lightsaber. But, after finally realizing that this was taken from the scene in the movie when Obi jumps off the Boga, I guess it makes sense that he doesn't have his Saber. (But why did Grievous have his?) Main Build: This set is 100 times better than the original 2005 Wheel Bike Chase. Even though it's lacking the Boga, I think it's much better. The bike itself looks much more movie accurate, and the legs are very articulated. The only problem with that, though, is the fact that it sometimes has a hard time standing up. That's only a minor problem, it only happens occasionally. I loved the fact that they used a clear version of a center of a wheel (I don't exactly know how to describe it) to make the middle of the bike, and covered the outside with the grey, black, light grey and silver pieces. My absolute favorite part of this set is the trans-purple pieces. This depicts my favorite scene from the movie: when Grievous types in his password to start the bike. I don't know exactly why, but that made me laugh since the first time I saw the movie. That was a great little addition. This, again, is my favorite set released in 2014. Because it's been on the shelves for over a year, I would recommend getting this before it retires!

        One word: minifigs

        By Kashauna

        from Undisclosed

Comments about LEGO Star Wars General Grievous' Wheel Bike (75040):

Once I saw this set, I automatically set it at the top of my list. From what I can see of the other sets, this is by far the best set of its cost or lower. I have been wanting the Clone Wars Grievous for some time, so when I saw an even better version, I knew it was a must buy. Once I got twenty five bucks, I practically went straight to Walmart and bought it. I didn't think that it looked like a good set until I built it. It's somewhat satisfactory for a $25 build, but it isn't exactly my favorite set..... Anyways, I was kinda disappointed that it didn't include a spring loaded missile. I mean, it appears like they could fit it in there. Instead I got a flick fire which I will never use. Otherwise the set it okay. But the minifigs are what I truly came for. General Grievous is worth the whole $25. The color and printing are awesome and so is everything else on him. Of course, I expected him to be alot taller, and it woulda been nice for there to be a joint in the head so I can replicate him fighting in the clone wars of 2003. I personally would also want a white cape to act that out too, but this is a set based on the movies. The arms have very minimal playability, but its still much better than the oldest version. The set also includes an extra Lightsaber hilt of both the shiny and the light gray color but I guess it kinda expects you to supply the blue blade for Obi Wan. Obi Wan's figure is pretty cool too, but the set didn't include the boga and I didn't exactly get the set for Obi Wan. I would appreciate an extra minifig like a phase 2 Commander Cody or an aiborne trooper, either of those figures would make me scramble for the set. I mean, they coulda at least given us a spring loaded missile, but it's good for how I bought it: A way to get a really cool, new General Grievous.
