My 3 year old daughter got this for Christmas and has just began to show interest in it. Upon opening and allowing her to play, she was unable to even play the games. Although she is able to undertand and attempt to play with the item, the buttons are too hard to press.

At this point, it is too late to take it back and we are at a loss for a learning system. I would never give a recommendation to buy this product.

Buttons are incorrect

By TechDad

Comments about Fisher-Price 1001124 Fisher-Price Smart Tablet:

My two year old loved this product, he knows his numbers and letter and is now working on words. The problem is that when he presses several of the letters, the computer says the incorrect letter. When he presses "O" is says "I." This is a problem for a learning toddler, he was confused. I tried changing the batteries but it did not help.

Wonderful Learning Tool/Toy

Comments about Fisher-Price 1001124 Fisher-Price Smart Tablet:

I purchased this for my 18 to 24 month old granddaughter to use at my house. She liked it so much she took it home and I bought another one for my house. Without anyone showing her how... her mother noticed she was playing one of the letter matching games and getting them right most of the time! I think it is a wonderful learning tool/toy.

Very Dissapointed!

Comments about Fisher-Price 1001124 Fisher-Price Smart Tablet:

Very dissapointed with this. Purchased for Christmas for 2 grandchildren, one of the function buttons do not work correctly, well they are still in the boxes new because they don't want to play with them because they keep shutting down. The abc's will only let you hear 2 or 3 letters and then it powers down. Very dissappointed. Tried to purchase new ones in the store and they did the same thing.

My grandchildren were just too young for it. But it is a wonderful learning tool. I plan on saving it, until next year, when the will better utilize it.

Comments about Fisher-Price 1001124 Fisher-Price Smart Tablet:

i bought 2 of the Smart tablets one for a 3yr old & 1 for a 4yr old, I was not happy with this purchase or were they, they found it very hard to use, the keys were very hard to press for them , so I tried it a few times myself and found that they were very hard for me also, 1 has stopped working already, and they don't play with the other one, I would not recommend this at all, they were purchased for Christmas gifts and as soon as I find my receipt I will return them.. I will say that in all my years buying Fisher Price products this is the only time I was not satisfied .

Disappointed

By syentihw

from STL

Comments about Fisher-Price 1001124 Fisher-Price Smart Tablet:

The tablet is not user friendly. Sure it has cute games and seems like fun but my daughter is almost 4 and cannot press the numbers. The tablet design makes it too hard for her, and when I try to help it's more of a pain because they hurt my fingers as well. I would not recommend this to anyone.

Disappointed

By KatieHeff

Comments about Fisher-Price 1001124 Fisher-Price Smart Tablet:

We bought this tablet for my 3 year old as a starter tablet to see if he would use it and take care of it before we invested more in one. Whoever made this tablet apparently does not have smaller kids. The buttons are so hard to push I have a hard time with them. He can't even enjoy it because he's getting so frustrated that the buttons he's pushing aren't working. The next tablet we buy will not be by fisher price because of this. We wasted our money.

Comments about Fisher-Price 1001124 Fisher-Price Smart Tablet:

I purchased two of these, one for my daycare and one for my grandson, theses kids are all three years old. They love playing on it and have learned a lot, but as other reviewers have said the keys are very hard to push. If it wasn't or the keys being hard to push I would have given it a five star. Someone at fisher price needs to look into this, since they usually have great products for children
