I have purchased many GeoTrax components and they are the best toys I've ever purchased. Others come and go but my oldest grandson, age 6, got a starter set when he was two. He loved it then and has played with it continually. Since then he has two younger brothers and all of them love the trains. It stimulates creativity and is virtually indestructable! With all the rainy weather in Washington, the boys have to play inside a lot and they never tire of playing with the GeoTrax trains.

My son has had Geotrax for 2 years now and we have mix of sets from very old to brand new. And Knight just has a problem climbing hills and not getting stuck on the old bridges. We have tried Sir John in the front and still have problems. My son loves him, but some how the new trains don't seem to be as strong as the older ones. He also has Bull & Bruno (the red train) and Alpine and Will. They also have problems climbing and the batteries die faster! I strongly recomend getting rechargeables. Don't get me wrong we love these toys. They never get put away. My 4 year old and my 9 month old could stare at and play with them all day!

This train is just as wonderful as our others. We have been collecting these for a few years now, and our kids were thrilled to drive Knight and Sir John. They love the train cars that come with it, very detailed and interesting. He goes a little faster than our other trains, even when everyone has new batteries :)

    Very fun toy

Comments about Fisher-Price 1001124 Fisher-Price GeoTrax Remote Control Set with Figure - Knight & Sir John:

I just purchased this toy along with a track set for my best friend's 3 year old son and it was a huge hit. It was exciting to watch him learning how to use the remote control to operate the train. The layout doesn't take up too much space either. It's pretty stable on the track though it may derail easily if the child bumps the train but otherwise it seemed to be quite enjoyable for the child.

Not up to fisher price quality. Train skips and hops off track when trying to go up hills. I think the front of the train is to light. This is something I would have thought would have been testing. Way to much money for something that doesn't work properly. My son is disappointed.

      Design Flaw?

Comments about Fisher-Price 1001124 Fisher-Price GeoTrax Remote Control Set with Figure - Knight & Sir John:

Geotrax is a great toy. This particular engine is too light at the front end and consistently derails as it reaches the crest of sections of green overpass track due to front wheels lifting of the track. Does this even with no wagons attached.

The train is poor quality. We just played half hour, it stopped working. My son cried because it's his birthday gift. But I must order it again after return it. My son likes the toy.

My son has had this toy since last winter and he loves it. I have never experienced trouble going up a slope or the train going off the track except when we use it with the Grand Central Station and then when it goes down the "spiral" ramp if the guard rails aren't on it falls off but thats because it goes so fast down the slope. My son has thrown this and crashed it hard into things and it still keeps going. The battery consumption isn't too bad either, weve had it for a year now and I've replaced the batteries once in the train and havent had to in the remote. This is a great toy!
