Updating a Registry


Updating your registry is easy. You can add products, remove products and change your personal information 24/7 from the comfort of your own home. Remember, your registry is active from the time you create it until 12 months after the expected arrival date you provide.

How do I Update My Registrant Information?


If you need to change any personal information for your registry, such as your address, your password or details about the baby, follow these easy steps:

  • Go to the Baby Registry homepage by clicking the link in the top navigation of the website, or by entering through the Babies"R"Us homepage.
  • In the box labeled "Update Your Registry" sign in to your account using your registry number and password (Forgot your password?).
  • You can also search for your registry and sign in from the "Find a Registry" box.
  • To update information about the registry, registrant, co-registrant or baby, click on the "Edit" button next to "Registrant Info". To update information about the baby, click on the "Edit" button next to "Additional Registry Info."
  • Once you've changed the information you wanted to, click on the button labeled "Save" to update your registry with the new information.

How do I Add Items to my Registry?


Adding products to your registry is fun and easy! Just follow these simple steps...

  • Go to the Baby Registry homepage by clicking the link in the top navigation of the website, or by entering through the Babies"R"Us homepage.
  • In the box labeled "Update Your Registry" sign in to your account using your registry number and password (Forgot your password?) and click on the "Sign In" button.
  • You can also search for your registry and sign in from the "Find a Registry" box.
  • To add more products to your registry, use the "R" Registry Builder tab; Start with our Checklists, browse Friends' Registries, view Showcase Registries, or continue where you left off.
  • Once you find a product you want to add, select a quantity and click on the "Add to Registry" button on the product detail page.
  • You will then be taken to "View My Registry" where you will see a confirmation that the item you just selected was added to your registry. Product updates will be made simultaneously online and in-store, so that all gift givers have up-to-date information.

How do I Update Items to my Registry?


Updating your baby registry is easy! Just follow these simple steps...

  • Go to the Baby Registry homepage by clicking the link in the top navigation of the website, or by entering through the Babies"R"Us homepage.
  • In the box labeled "Update Your Registry" sign in to your account using your registry number and password (Forgot your password?) and click on the "Sign In" button.
  • Click on the button labeled "View My Registry" to see a list of all the products currently on your registry.
  • To change the quantity of a product, enter the new quantity in the column labeled "Desired" and click on the "Update" button.
  • If you want to remove a product altogether from the list, click on the "Delete" button. Please note that you cannot delete an item that has at least 1 purchase.
  • When people start making purchases from your registry, you'll notice that products will start to appear in the "Purchased" section. If you check your registry and notice that an item has been purchased but has not yet been moved to the purchased section, you can adjust the purchase quantity. Just update the quantity shown in the column labeled "Purchased" and click on the "Update" button. Occasionally, gift givers forget to alert the Team Members that the gift they are buying is from a registry, or they sometimes purchase a registry item elsewhere. These are the reasons an item would not be properly deducted from your registry.

How do I Delete my Registry?


To delete your registry, please call 888-BABYRUS (222-9787)

Note: Most registry purchases and updates will be reflected in a matter of minutes in all locations (online and stores) but please allow at least an hour for updates to be reflected in all channels. If you do not see your updates made after one hour, please contact us at 1-888-BABYRUS so that we can investigate the situation for you.
