You bet! You can pick and choose from a large selection of pre-designed cards, or you can design your own Personalized Gift Card.
How Can I Purchase a Gift Card Online?
It's easy! Just follow these simple steps...
- Visit our Gift Card homepage by clicking here.
- Here, you can choose between three different Gift Card options:
- Standard Gift Card: Choose from an assortment of pre-designed gift cards. To get started, click Choose A Card.
- Design Your Own Gift Card: Take your gift to new levels by designing your own Gift Card! You can add your own images, background and/or text to create a unique, one-of-a-kind card. This option also comes with a Personalized Greeting Card that can be customized as well. To get started, click Design A Card.
- eGift Card: Give that special someone the perfect gift, delivered right to their inbox! Choose from an assortment of pre-designed images and add your own message. To get started, click Send eGift Card.

Once you have selected a Gift Card option, simply follow the directions below.*
* Please note that the eGift card should be received within several hours of ordering. However, if the order is delayed in the review process, the purchaser will be notified via e-mail to contact customer service and it could take up to several days to be received.
Standard Gift Card:
- Select the dollar value you'd like loaded onto your Gift Card or enter your own amount in the corresponding field. You can also select the number of Gift Cards you'd like to purchase.
- Choose a Gift Card design by filling in the corresponding bubble next to your design choice.
- You can also choose to send your Gift Card inside a personalized greeting card. Simply fill out the corresponding bubble next to "Yes, I'd like to send the Gift Card Inside a Personalized Greeting Card ($4.50 plus Gift Card Value)." OR "No thanks, I'd like to send the Gift Card Inside a Letter Carrier ($1.95 plus Gift Card Value)."
- Next, indicate whether you'll be shipping the Gift Card to "Other Recipient(s)" OR "Myself."
- For each Gift Card you've selected, enter the recipient's name in the "To" field and the sender's name in the "From" field. You can also add a personal message if you'd like.
- Please note...
- If you opted to purchase more than one Gift Card...
- Click "Apply to all Letter Carriers" if you'd like each Gift Card's information to be the same.
- Make sure you have the correct shipping (or "ship to") address filled in during the checkout process.
- Each personal message will be included on the standard Letter Carrier that accompanies a standard Gift Card.
- Then, enter the return address that will be printed on each Gift Card envelope.
- Click "Add to Cart" to continue or "Go Back" to return to a previous page.
- Once you click "Add to Cart," you'll be able to view a description of your order in your Cart, along with any other items you've added while shopping.
- To edit an item in your Cart — including its Dollar Value and Gift Card design — simply click on the item's image or description.
- When you're ready to check out, select "Proceed to Secure Checkout." If you are a registered guest, simply sign in and continue. Or, if you don't have an account and you'd like to proceed without signing in, simply enter the required information under "Enter Billing Address."
- Finally, select or add a shipping address for the item(s) in your cart. If you are sending items to more than one address, select "Ship to multiple addresses," and you can enter a ship-to address for each recipient on the next page.
- Once you've completed the checkout process, your Gift Card(s) will be sent to the shipping address selected, and you will receive a confirmation email.
Design Your Own Gift Card:
- Select the dollar value you'd like loaded onto your Gift Card or enter your own amount in the corresponding field. You can also select the number of Gift Cards you'd like to purchase.
- Next, fill in the bubble next to "Design your own." Then, click "Continue."
- Please note: To select a pre-designed Gift Card, click "Use one of ours." Then follow the instructions above, under "Standard Gift Card."
- Personalizing your Gift Card:
- Use the controls to the right of the Gift Card Preview to personalize your Gift Card(s). To add a background, select the corresponding tab and add background color by clicking on one of the swatches. You can also add a background pattern on top of the color you selected by clicking one of the patterns.
- To add an image, select the corresponding tab and click "Upload Image." Then click "Choose File" to locate the JPEG, GIF, PNG, TIF or BMP image file on your computer that you'd like to use. Click "Upload Photo" to place the selected image on your card. Use the direction pad to adjust your image on the card. To add text, select the corresponding tab and type your message in the space provided. You can also adjust the font, color, size and style of the text.
- After personalizing your Gift Card, review your design and messaging. Then, click the "Terms of Service" link to review the terms. You must check the box indicating that you have complied with the Terms of Service before you can continue.
- Once you click continue, you can create a Personalized Greeting Card.
- Personalizing your Greeting Card:
- First, select a greeting card from one of the options provided.
- To personalize your selected card, click "Personalize." To leave the card as is, click "Send As Is."
- Type your message in the space provided on the personalization screen. Include your own sentiments inside the card — on the left and right sides — as well as on the back page. Use the tools to change the text font, color, size and style.
- If you want to add a photo or image to be printed inside your greeting card, click "Upload Image" and follow the instructions to upload an image from your computer.
- After personalizing your Greeting Card, review your design and messaging. Then, click the "Terms of Service" link to review the terms. You must check the box indicating that you have complied with the Terms of Service before you can continue.
- Next, indicate whether you'll be shipping the Gift Card to "Other Recipient(s)" OR "Myself."
- Fill out the name of the Gift Card recipient(s) in the corresponding Name fields.
- Then, enter the return address that will be printed on each Gift Card envelope.
- Click "Add to Cart" to continue or "Go Back" to return to a previous page.
- Once you click "Add to Cart," you'll be able to view a description of your order in your Cart, along with any other items you've added while shopping.
- To edit an item in your Cart - including its Dollar Value and Gift Card design - simply click on the item's image or description.

eGift Card:
- Select the quantity of eGift Cards you'd like to purchase by clicking the drop-down menu under the image you'd like to include on your eGift Card. You can add up to 10 eGift Cards per order.
- Depending on the number of eGift Cards you are purchasing, you'll have the same number of eGift Cards to customize as a gift. Click "Next" once you've filled out the required information for each eGift Card in your order.
- You can preview an eGift Card by clicking "Preview." To continue, click "Next" at the bottom of the screen.
- Note: If you have selected too many cards, simply click "Remove" or leave those fields blank. Once you click "Next," the blank cards will automatically be removed from your order.
- The next screen provides a final opportunity to review your eGift Card order. If you are satisfied with your order, click "Add to Cart." Otherwise, click "Go Back" to modify your order.

Once you have completed the checkout process, each Gift Card recipient will receive an email containing the eGift Card(s). In addition, you will receive a confirmation email.*

Can I Order Gift Cards Over the Phone?
Of course! You can order Standard Gift Cards and eGift Cards via phone. However, personalized Gift Cards and Personalized Greeting Cards must be purchased online.
Why Can't I Order a Personalized Gift Card and Personalized Greeting Card Over the Phone?
Creating a Personalized Gift Card and Personalized Greeting Card is exactly that — personal! To that end, online personalization offers Guests the time to explore all of the great options available. Additionally, there are several steps that our Guest Service Team would not be able to assist you with, such as uploading Gift Card images.

Why Do I Need to Provide my Return Address When Purchasing a Standard/Personalized Gift Card Online?

How Do I Check the Balance on a Gift Card?
Checking your Gift Card balance is easy! First, visit the Sign In page here and follow the directions below:
- If you are a returning Guest, enter your email address and password in the corresponding fields.
- If you are a new customer, enter your email address and create a password in the corresponding fields.
- Select "Check Gift Card Balance" located under Account Features on the Sign In page.
- Enter your Gift Card number and PIN. Then, click "Check Balance."
- You can also check your Gift Card balance by calling our Guest Service Team at 1-800-TOYSRUS or by visiting any "R"Us store. Be sure to call with your Gift Card number and PIN ready.

How Do I Redeem a Gift Card Online?
It's Easy! Just follow these simple steps!!
- Go to www.toysrus.com or www.babiesrus.com and select the items you want to purchase.
- When you are ready to checkout, click "Cart" and proceed through our regular checkout.
- Enter your Gift Card number...
- On the Payment page
- On the Review Your Order page
- Enter your 16-digit card number
- Enter your 4-digit PIN number. Click here for more information about PINs.
- Click "Apply Gift Cards."
- If the amount of your gift card doesn't cover your order total, you will be prompted to select an additional payment method.
NOTE: Please hold on to the Gift Cards used for your purchase, even if you have used the total value. In case of any order adjustment or cancellation, we will issue credit to the original tender. Additionally, we'd like you to note that funds will be deducted from your gift card at the time your order is created.
Does my Gift Card expire or have a dormancy fee?
No, there are absolutely no expiration dates or dormancy fees applied to any gift card purchased at www.toysrus.com and www.babiesrus.com.
Can I use a Toys"R"Us Gift Card in a Babies"R"Us store or at Babiesrus.com?
Absolutely! "R"Us Gift Cards can be redeemed in-store or online at Toysrus.com and Babiesrus.com, unless stated otherwise.
Can I use a Toys"R"Us or Babies"R"Us Gift Card in-store?
Certainly! All "R"Us Gift Cards - including eGift Cards - can be redeemed both online and in-store. For eGift Cards, simply print out your eGift Card email, bring it to an "R"Us store and hand it to a store associate during checkout.

What is a PIN Number and Where is it Located?
A PIN is a personal identification number that is unique to your "R"Us Gift Card. In most cases, it's located on the back of your card in the bottom-right corner. Or, if you have an eGift Card, your PIN is below the words "Card Number."

What if my "R"Us Gift Card Doesn't Have a PIN?

At What Point Will Money Be Deducted from my Gift Card?

Are There Any Rules and Regulations Regarding Gift Cards That I Should Know About?
There are a few simple Rules and Regulations that you should know about:
- Gift Cards cannot be redeemed for cash or returned for a refund, except as required by applicable laws in some states. See store for details.
- A maximum of five Gift Cards can be applied to a single order.
- Gift Cards can be applied towards the price, gift wrap, shipping and/or tax charges for eligible items.
- Paper gift certificates purchased in Toys"R"Us stores cannot be applied to online orders.
- The purchase of Gift Cards cannot apply towards any "R"Us promotion or promotional event. For example, when you purchase a Gift Card, the amount you spend on the Gift Card would not count toward an offer of free shipping for orders of $99.00 or more.

We can gift wrap most items for a nominal fee, and we also offer free gift messages and receipts. To view available options, click the "Yes" checkbox during checkout. You can choose and edit your gift selections on the Shipping & Gift Options page and on the Review page.
Steps to Selecting Gift Wrap:
- You can choose wrapping paper for each item by using the drop-down menu.
- After you've made your selections, click "Continue Checkout."
- The gift wrap charge will be noted in the Order Details section on the Payment page.
Please note:
- Gift wrap may not be available for all items. If you are purchasing an item that can be gift wrapped, the Gift Wrap option will be noted in your Cart and throughout checkout.
- The charge for gift wrap is not refundable.
- Gift wrap and messaging are not currently offered for Store Pickup items.

Our Gift Message option allows you to personalize items that you are shipping to someone else. This service is quick, easy and free! Gift messages are available on most products and will be noted during checkout on the appropriate products in your order.
You can add a gift message during checkout on the Shipping & Gift Options pages. Select the "Yes, I want a FREE gift message on the gift receipt" option when choosing your shipping method. Then, click "Continue Checkout." On the next page, you can enter your gift message in the field.
Please note:
- Gift messages are not available for all items.
- Gift messaging is not currently offered for Store Pickup items.
- Each message can include up to 180 characters (maximum).
- Your gift message will appear on your order's packing slip.

Very Important Baby (V.I.B.) Cards:
How can I add funds to a V.I.B. card?
V.I.B. cardholders and gift givers can add money to a V.I.B. card at any time by visiting any of our 850+ "R" Us locations or thru a Baby Registry. A Team Member will simply look up the V.I.B. account # and apply the gift amount to the account.
Funds can be added to a V.I.B. card via cash, standard gift card, debit or credit card transaction.
How much money can gift givers add to a card?
There is no limit to how much money a cardholder or gift giver can add to a V.I.B. card. Please note that the V.I.B. card can only a hold maximum balance of $1,800 at any given time.
However, there is no limit on the number of times that the card can be re-loaded to reach that amount. V.I.B. cardholders can earn a maximum of $200 bonus dollars per year based on the anniversary of the card's activation date.
For example:
June 1 2012 - Get card. Add $1,600. Earn $160 bonus dollars.
June 1 - November 1 2012 - Spend $700 of V.I.B. card value on Diapers, Wipes, Formula & Baby Food.
November 2 2012 - Add $740 to V.I.B. card. Earn $40 bonus dollars, as this meets the $200 annual limit.
June 1, 2013 - Annual card cycle is re-set, allowing cardholder to earn another $200 bonus dollars within the next year.
How can I check how much money is currently on my V.I.B. Card?
V.I.B. cardholders can visit the Rewards"R"Us website at www.toysrus.com/rewards to view their V.I.B. account balance and accrued V.I.B. bonus dollars.
Does the money added to the V.I.B. card by gift givers and cardholders expire after a certain period?
Funds added to a V.I.B. card by gift givers and cardholders do not expire. Bonus dollars added by "R" Us expire if unused after 1 year.
Is there a bonus incentive for adding money on the V.I.B. card?
V.I.B. cardholders will receive a 10% bonus from Babies"R"Us for money loaded on to the V.I.B. card. So as an example, if a gift giver loads $100 on to the V.I.B. card, Babies"R"Us will add on a $10 bonus, for a total of $110 on the card. Any and all amounts loaded on the V.I.B. card will qualify for the 10% bonus.
With diapers adding up to over $800 in baby's first year, an $80 bonus is a welcome benefit!
How can I use my V.I.B. card to purchase diapers, wipes, formula and baby food?
Cardholders can use their V.I.B. card to purchase diapers, wipes, formula and baby food at any "R" Us location. At this time, V.I.B. cards cannot be used to make online purchases.
