When you're shopping on our website, you can save items you would like to buy in your Cart until you are ready to purchase them. It works in the same way as a cart in a retail store. Item(s) in your Cart will remain there until they are purchased or removed.
Here are some of the things you can do with the item(s) in your Cart:
- Update the quantity: If you would like more or less of an item in your Cart, simply type in the quantity you wish to purchase and click "Update Cart."
- Remove an item(s) from your Cart: If you change your mind about an item(s), click "Remove," or change the quantity to zero and click "Update Cart."
- How to get it: Items may be available for Shipping or Store Pickup. If you have already selected an option, it will be indicated in the "How to get it" column. If you have not selected an option, you will be able to do so in Cart.
Note: Some items may not be eligible for all 'How to get it' options.
If you have selected Store Pickup in Cart but have not selected a store, you will be required to select a store location for the pickup option before proceeding to checkout.
- Return to shopping: If you wish to continue shopping after reviewing the contents of your Cart, choose one of the options and continue to search our website. You can return to your Cart at any time by clicking on "Cart" at the top of the page.
- Proceed to secure checkout: Once you're done shopping, click "Proceed to Secure Checkout" to purchase the item(s) in your Cart. Our checkout process is fast, easy and secure. See our secure shopping guarantee for details.
- The Baby Registry or Wish List purchases in your Cart: If you add an item(s) to your Cart from The Baby Registry or Wish List, this item(s) will be identified as such in your Cart. The corresponding registry or Wish List will be updated once you make your purchase to help avoid duplicate gifts.

- Proceed to Checkout: If you have an account, sign in to enjoy a faster checkout process. Please note: You can create an account at any time. However, you do not need one to make a purchase.
- Enter Billing and Shipping Address: To avoid delays in the authorization process, please enter your Billing Address exactly as it appears on your billing statement. Important: Store Pickup orders require a driver's license or government-issued ID, where the first and last names match the Billing address entered.
- You can either choose your Billing Address as your Shipping Address, or select an alternate address. You can also ship to multiple addresses.
- During checkout, you will have the option of adding, editing or deleting an address. You can also make these changes in the "My Account" section of our website.
- Please verify your shipping information before you proceed. We are unable to make any changes to the shipping destination once your order has been submitted.
- If the items you have added to your cart are for Store Pickup only, you will not be required to enter a shipping address. The store location you selected will be shown throughout checkout.
- Gifting Options: For gift item(s), check the box in the "Are you purchasing a gift today?" section to view your gifting options. On the next page, you can select gift wrap, if available, and a gift message (one per address).
Note: Gift wrap and messaging are not currently offered for Store Pickup items.
- Select a Shipping Method: Click the button next to the shipping method of your choice for each item in your cart, including gift and non-gift items. Then, click "Continue Checkout" to proceed to the next page.
- Payments
- Rewards"R"Us: If you are a Rewards"R"Us Member, enter your membership number to receive credit for your order. If you are not a member, you can receive credit for your current order by signing up on the Receipt page at the end of the checkout process.
- Select your Payment Method: We accept most major credit cards, debit cards, "R"Us gift cards and several third-party payment options. We also offer cash payment through our Pay in Store option for most items. For details, click here
- Gift Cards: If you would like to use an "R"Us gift card, simply enter your card number and PIN (if applicable). Please note: You can redeem up to 5 gift cards per order, but each card must be entered separately. Gift Cards may not be used in conjunction with the Pay in Store payment option when placing an order, but can be redeemed when paying in the store.
- Very Important Baby (V.I.B.) card: At this time, V.I.B. cards can only be used in-store for the purchase of diapers, wipes, formula and baby food. VIB cards may not be used in conjunction with the Pay in Store payment option.
- Promotional Codes: If you have a promotional code, enter it into the "Promotional Code" field. Promotional codes need to be entered one at a time. Using multiple promotional codes might void promotions that have already been applied. Any promotional discounts will be reflected in the Cost Summary section on the Review page. Promotional codes may not be redeemed in store for Pay in Store orders; All codes must be redeemed online at time of the initial order.

Carefully review your information on this page for accuracy - shipping address or Store Pickup location(s), shipping method(s) and billing information. You can also view any applied discounts and promotions, total charges and gift options. Please note: You can still edit information on this page.
Once you've verified that all the information is accurate, complete your purchase by clicking "Submit Order." Please note: We cannot change or cancel an order once it has been placed. See the Changing or Canceling Your Order page for more information.
If you're a returning guest, simply enter your security code and go. You will still be able to make edits to your order.
- Receipt Page
- View and print your receipt: After checkout is complete, your order number will be displayed on the Receipt page. Here, you'll also be able to print your order receipt by clicking "View & Print Receipt." You will also receive an email confirmation of your receipt. Be sure to save a copy of this email in case you have questions about your order.
- Store Pickup orders: The receipt page will include detailed information on the next steps for picking up your order.
- Cash / Pay in Store orders: The receipt page will include detailed information on the next steps for paying for your order.
- Rewards"R"Us: If you are not a Rewards"R"Us Member, you can receive credit for your current order by signing up on the Receipt page.
- Create an Account: If you do not have an account, you can create one by entering your email address and password in the "Create An Account" box. Then, click "Submit." By creating an account, you can conveniently store your order history, billing address and shipping address. You'll also be able to track and check the status of your order(s). Your password keeps your information secure and ensures that only you can access your account.

How to redeem promotional codes:
- Enter the code(s) in the "Promotional Code" field on the Payment page and then click "Apply." Codes are CaSe SeNsItIvE.
- Promotional codes need to be entered one at a time. Using multiple promotional codes might void promotions that have already been applied.
- Promotional codes can be applied up to your order's total value.
- If accepted, the code will display with a "Status: Applied" message, and your discount will appear in the payment summary. If you add or delete a promotional code, your payment summary will refresh accordingly.
- If not accepted, the code will display with a "Status: Not Applied" message. Here are possible reasons your code wasn't processed:
- You have not added all of the required items to your cart (including any gift with purchase items).
- Many codes are one-time use. You've already used this code on a previous order.
- Your order has not met all of the promotional requirements. (Note: Not all items are eligible for all promotions.)
- The code entered was not within the valid effective dates.

How Can I Purchase a Gift Card Online? It's easy! Just follow these simple steps...
- Visit our Gift Card homepage by clicking here.
- Here, you can choose between three different Gift Card options:
- Standard Gift Card: Choose from an assortment of pre-designed gift cards. To get started, click Choose A Card.
- Design Your Own Gift Card: Take your gift to new levels by designing your own Gift Card! You can add your own images, background and/or text to create a unique, one-of-a-kind card. This option also comes with a Personalized Greeting Card that can be customized as well. To get started, click Design A Card.
- eGift Card: Give that special someone the perfect gift, delivered right to their inbox! Choose from an assortment of pre-designed images and add your own message. To get started, click Send eGift Card.
- Once you have selected a Gift Card option, simply follow the directions below.
Standard Gift Card:
- Select the dollar value you'd like loaded onto your Gift Card or enter your own amount in the corresponding field. You can also select the number of Gift Cards you'd like to purchase.
- Choose a Gift Card design by filling in the corresponding bubble next to your design choice.
- You can also choose to send your Gift Card inside a personalized greeting card. Simply fill out the corresponding bubble next to "Yes, I'd like to send the Gift Card Inside a Personalized Greeting Card ($4.50 plus Gift Card Value)." OR "No thanks, I'd like to send the Gift Card Inside a Letter Carrier ($1.95 plus Gift Card Value)."
- Next, indicate whether you'll be shipping the Gift Card to "Other Recipient(s)" OR "Myself."
- For each Gift Card you've selected, enter the recipient's name in the "To" field and the sender's name in the "From" field. You can also add a personal message if you'd like.
- Please note...
- If you opted to purchase more than one Gift Card...
- Click "Apply to all Letter Carriers" if you'd like each Gift Card's information to be the same.
- Make sure you have the correct shipping(or "ship to") address filled in during the checkout process.
- Each personal message will be included on the standard Letter Carrier that accompanies a standard Gift Card.
- Then, enter the return address that will be printed on each Gift Card envelope.
- Click "Add to Cart" to continue or "Go Back" to return to a previous page.
- Once you click "Add to Cart," you'll be able to view a description of your order in your Cart, along with any other items you've added while shopping.
- To edit an item in your Cart — including its Dollar Value and Gift Card design — simply click on the item's image or description.
- When you're ready to check out, select "Proceed to Secure Checkout." If you are a registered guest, simply sign in and continue. Or, if you don't have an account and you'd like to proceed without signing in, simply enter the required information under "Enter Billing Address."

- Once you've completed the checkout process, your Gift Card(s) will be sent to the shipping address selected, and you will receive a confirmation email.
Design Your Own Gift Card:
- Select the dollar value you'd like loaded onto your Gift Card or enter your own amount in the corresponding field. You can also select the number of Gift Cards you'd like to purchase.
- Next, fill in the bubble next to "Design your own." Then, click "Continue."
- Please note: To select a pre-designed Gift Card, click "Use one of ours." Then follow the instructions above, under "Standard Gift Card."
- Personalizing your Gift Card:
- Use the controls to the right of the Gift Card Preview to personalize your Gift Card(s). To add a background, select the corresponding tab and add background color by clicking on one of the swatches. You can also add a background pattern on top of the color you selected by clicking one of the patterns.
- To add an image, select the corresponding tab and click "Upload Image." Then click "Choose File" to locate the JPEG, GIF, PNG, TIF or BMP image file on your computer that you'd like to use. Click "Upload Photo" to place the selected image on your card. Use the direction pad to adjust your image on the card. To add text, select the corresponding tab and type your message in the space provided. You can also adjust the font, color, size and style of the text.
- After personalizing your Gift Card, review your design and messaging. Then, click the "Terms of Service" link to review the terms. You must check the box indicating that you have complied with the Terms of Service before you can continue.
- Once you click continue, you can create a Personalized Greeting Card.
- Personalizing your Greeting Card:
- First, select a greeting card from one of the options provided.
- To personalize your selected card, click "Personalize." To leave the card as is, click "Send As Is."
- Type your message in the space provided on the personalization screen. Include your own sentiments inside the card — on the left and right sides — as well as on the back page. Use the tools to change the text font, color, size and style.
- If you want to add a photo or image to be printed inside your greeting card, click "Upload Image" and follow the instructions to upload an image from your computer.
- After personalizing your Greeting Card, review your design and messaging. Then, click the "Terms of Service" link to review the terms. You must check the box indicating that you have complied with the Terms of Service before you can continue.
- Next, indicate whether you'll be shipping the Gift Card to "Other Recipient(s)" OR "Myself."
- Fill out the name of the Gift Card recipient(s) in the corresponding Name fields.
- Then, enter the return address that will be printed on each Gift Card envelope.
- Click "Add to Cart" to continue or "Go Back" to return to a previous page.
- Once you click "Add to Cart," you'll be able to view a description of your order in your Cart, along with any other items you've added while shopping.
- To edit an item in your Cart - including its Dollar Value and Gift Card design - simply click on the item's image or description.
- When you're ready to check out, select "Proceed to Secure Checkout." If you are a registered guest, simply sign in and continue. Or, if you don't have an account and you'd like to proceed without signing in, simply enter the required information under "Enter Billing Address."

- Once you've completed the checkout process, your Gift Card(s) will be sent to the shipping address you selected, and a confirmation email will be sent to you.
eGift Card:
- Select the quantity of eGift Cards you'd like to purchase by clicking the drop-down menu under the image you'd like to include on your eGift Card. You can add up to 10 eGift Cards per order.
- Depending on the number of eGift Cards you are purchasing, you'll have the same number of eGift Cards to customize as a gift. Click "Next" once you've filled out the required information for each eGift Card in your order.
- You can preview an eGift Card by clicking "Preview." To continue, click "Next" at the bottom of the screen.
- Note: If you have selected too many cards, simply click "Remove" or leave those fields blank. Once you click "Next," the blank cards will automatically be removed from your order.
- The next screen provides a final opportunity to review your eGift Card order. If you are satisfied with your order, click "Add to Cart." Otherwise, click "Go Back" to modify your order.
- Once you have completed the checkout process, each Gift Card recipient will receive an email containing the eGift Card(s). In addition, you will receive a confirmation email.
Can I Order Gift Cards Over the Phone? Of course! You can order Standard Gift Cards and eGift Cards via phone. However, personalized Gift Cards and Personalized Greeting Cards must be purchased online.
Why Can't I Order a Personalized Gift Card and Personalized Greeting Card Over the Phone? Creating a Personalized Gift Card and Personalized Greeting Card is exactly that — personal! To that end, online personalization offers Guests the time to explore all of the great options available. Additionally, there are several steps that our Guest Service Team would not be able to assist you with, such as uploading Gift Card images.

Are There Any Rules and Regulations Regarding Gift Cards That I Should Know About? There are a few simple Rules and Regulations that you should know about:
- Gift Cards cannot be redeemed for cash or returned for a refund, except as required by applicable laws in some states. See store for details.
- A maximum of five Gift Cards can be applied to a single order.
- Gift Cards can be applied towards the price, gift wrap, shipping and/or tax charges for eligible items.
- Paper gift certificates purchased in Toys"R"Us stores cannot be applied to online orders.

Your credit or debit card will not be charged until your item(s) is shipped, at which time we will email you tracking information. This is known as an "authorization hold" and typically lasts from 3-7 days, depending upon the policy of your bank.
