Overall I enjoy using this jogger, the pros outweigh the cons. I'm an avid gym goer and beginner jogger with two girls, a 3 year old and an 8 month old. Here's a list of what I have observed so far. I've used it a couple of times a week for about a month: Pros: - Assembly was pretty easy, it took me about 15 mins. - It's a good looking stroller. My 3 year old fell in love with it when she saw it, and is always happy to jump in it. - The height and weight limits are impressive. 50 lb limit! That's very generous. My toddler is at the 98% of height and 50% weight, finding strollers that fit her tall frame has been a challenge. She sits in this stroller very comfortably. - My baby enjoys it as well, I just have to tighten the harness when she rides and it has not been a problem. It's just your typical nylon straps that you pull to adjust. - When I first used the stroller I totally forgot to check the amount of air the wheels had in them. My first ride was awful, the air in the tires was very low and kept pulling to the left. My next outing I remembered to fill the tires and the ride was dramatically better. - The canopy offers decent coverage. - Opening the stroller is easy, just release the side latch and pull it to unfold - Closing is simple too, just pull a strap that is nicely hidden in the seat. - The ride is very smooth. Comparable to my bugaboo chameleon stroller -- which totally surprised me! - The underseat basket is nice and roomy, with enough room for a diaper bag and sweater. - There is a mesh cupholder inside the stroller, which my daughter uses to put a small stuffed animal so that's cute. - There is a mesh storage pocket on the back of the canopy which is nice to hold small items like snacks. - The adjustable handlebar is a nice touch for a custom pushing position. Cons - Even after filling the tires I still feel it pulls to the left a little, not enough to make me stop using it but I notice it. - The belly bar seems like a design afterthought, it's either on or completely off. A swing open design would have been significantly better. - Overall construction and materials feels a little less quality than what I'm use to, but hey this is not a fancy-schmancy premium stroller. - The stroller does wobble when jogging. - I wish the peekaboo window had something to hold it open, its more of a lift to peek design. See my pictures for a closer look at what I discussed. Overall, I'm pleasantly surprised by this stroller and will continue to use it I received this stroller in exchange for my review. Many thanks to the weeSpring Parent Panel for sending me this jogger!

I received this stroller as a member on the Wee Spring Parent Panel. It was delivered yesterday morning and I was able to run with it in the evening. The assembly was incredibly easy. It only involved popping the rear two tires in place, placing and tightening the front tire, clicking on the front bar that goes in front of your little one, and clipping on the cup holder. From taking it out of the box to being run ready, it took roughly 10 minutes. -The handlebar is adjustable and easy to do so, but I left it as because it was perfect for me in the position it was in when it arrived. -The stroller seat reclines, but I didn't use that since my run was only 20 minutes, so I kept it upright. My son (who is 2 & 1/2) seemed very comfortable in the seat. He was so excited to ride in it and couldn't wait to jump in when it was put together (he kept trying as I was putting it together). He had no complaints other than telling me to slow down (HA!!!). -The cup holder for you is very flimsy, wobbles, and doesn't do well holding a bottle of water. It kept falling out so I ended up taking it off and putting my bottle in the storage underneath. -There is no cup holder or snack tray for your LO. This isn't ideal for me since I use my running stroller for outings that require an off terrain stroller. If I'm out and about for several hours or more, then my son will need snacks/water and I want somewhere to put them. I did notice after my run there is a small pocket in the seat, but it was too small for my son's water bottle. Luckily, he is old enough to hold his own water bottle, but snacks are another story. -The storage underneath is wide, but very shallow. I think if I were on a trail or doing some rough terrain activities, stuff might fall out. -The run was very smooth, but my biggest complaint is that the stroller pulls to the left, bad. It was awful. I am not sure if it was how I assembled the tires, or if something was wrong with it. My arms were more tired than my legs from struggling to keep the stroller straight during the run. Not only was it difficult to try & maintain a straight path, it was hard to steer it back after it veered into the grass or shoulder. It was also difficult to make turns with the wheel locked. Although the wheel lock is incredibly easy to operate (just slide the lock left or right to lock/unlock), it is annoying to have to do it during a run. The lock is placed over the front tire so you would need to stop running in order to do a quick unlock to make a smooth turn, then once the turn is made, you need to lock the wheel again, and start running again. Annoying. Because of the strong pull while running, I wouldn't use this stroller to run. I am going to stick with my other running stroller. I may use this one for outdoor events that require an off terrain stroller instead of my normal Chicco travel system stroller.

Great stroller for the value!!

By NicNYC

Comments about Evenflo Charleston Jogger Stroller - Sky Blue:

I received this stroller from the Weespring panel to test drive and I have to say I was pleasently surprised with how well it handles at this price point. I received this stroller through the Weespring panel and I have to say I am pleasently surprised with what a great stroller it is for the cost. We also have the BOB stroller and although it is definitely a more durable, rugged stroller than the Evenflo jogger, it isn't that different. I could see the Evenflo being a great substitute for the BOB for someone who doesn't need the ability to go off roading with the stroller. For the occasional jogger the Evenflo is perfect. A couple likes and dislikes about the Evenflo are: The handlebar is a bit flimsy and I wouldn't consider putting one of those hooks to hang bags off it as I honestly think it might break under that much weight. The brake is hard to disengage with your foot. I end up having to pull it back up with my hand. The cup holder is super flimsy. You could definitely not put a hot beverage like a coffee in it while your child was in the stroller. I think the bottom of the holder actually says not for hot beverages. That said, there's a super handy pocket right behind the handlebar on the back of the seat that is perfect for holding your cell phone, etc. I wish every stroller had a pocket located where this one is. I didn't notice any pulling left or right as other reviewers had mentioned. The sunshade has reflectors on it that would work really well if you are jogging or walking at night. All in, this is a great jogging stroller for the money.

A happy moms first jogger

Comments about Evenflo Charleston Jogger Stroller - Sky Blue:

I got a chance to try this jogger as part of the weeSpring Parent Panel and I'm thrilled about this stroller! It's supremely easy to put together (I singlehandedly knocked it out in about 10 minutes with two curious toddlers in the mix), it's very easy to maneuver (the nicely padded handlebars adjusted so me, my two and four year olds could all try out our new toy in the driveway) and he price can't be beat if you're like me and are investing into several types of strollers. It's been great and easy to use for trips around the park, around the neighborhood and was very easy to break down, pack into my suv and pop back open when we're driving to stroll. I would highly recommend.

Comments about Evenflo Charleston Jogger Stroller - Sky Blue:

I had a really easy time putting this stroller together. I didn't need any help lifting the box or anything. No tools involved, everything snaps together nicely. The stroller is lightweight, steers easily with one hand, and easy to fold up. I have yet to take it out for a true jog so I can't comment on that yet. I will update the review once it cools off a bit and I can take it for a real spin!

Great jogger for the price

Comments about Evenflo Charleston Jogger Stroller - Sky Blue:

I got a chance to try this jogger as part of the weeSpring Parent Panel. I have to say I have tried multiple joggers and this one would be #2 on my list. It's very easy to put together. The canopy goes down farther than most joggers which I like. It folds up and stores very compactly so if you don't have a lot of storage space this is great for you. I like the soft handle bar and LOVE the brake...its in the center and locks both wheels instead of each wheel individually. Very easy to use when you are wearing flip flops! I like the material as it seem durable. It's easy to push and I really like the fact it has larger back wheels and the front wheel can swivel or lock. I don't really see the point in the bar and I don't like that it doesn't lay flat. I really appreciate the small pocket on the canopy that you can put your keys and phone in without having to place them in the bottom. The cup holder is convenient but doesn't seem to be very sturdy. I think this is a great product for the value. I would recommend it to someone looking for a jogger.

Solid jogger

By MomofLiam

Comments about Evenflo Charleston Jogger Stroller - Sky Blue:

and solid jogger for the price point. We had a BOB jogger so I'll be comparing it to this, though the BOB is $100 more so you have to consider that. What I noticed were the following: PROS: - Loved the adjustable tilt handlebars. This jogger can easily be a comfortable fit for a taller parent (my husband is 6' tall and said it was no problem for him). -The canopy was just as big as the BOB's and felt just as sturdy. -Harness system was easy to adjust - The whole system was very simple to put together in all of 5 minutes or less. - Recline was simple to do. CONS: - My husband is the runner in our family and he said though it had just as many features as the BOB, it did seem like it swayed a bit more than the BOB that hardly does at all. - Was SO excited it actually had a cup holder that came with the jogger (the BOB doesn't) but unfortunately it's pretty flimsy and tipped out my water bottle. If you're looking for a great jogger that is sturdy and isn't expensive, I'd highly recommend this one. Thanks to the weeSpring parent panel for sending it to me to try!

Good value

By Lalaleach

Comments about Evenflo Charleston Jogger Stroller - Sky Blue:

was very surprised by the quality of this stroller. It gives a comparable ride to the highly rated Bob stroller on our long gravel driveway and off road when hiking on trails or over grass. It's also more narrow then the Bob so it's easier to maneuver around things and through doorways. However some drawbacks are that it's very big and bulky folded and quite heavy to lift in and out of a tailgate. I also find that the brake sticks and is not easy to operate with flip flops on. Overall, I thinks it's a good, less expensive alternative to the Bob stroller but not a good everyday stroller. Thanks to the weeSpring Parent Panel for sending me this jogger!

Great lightweight jogging stroller going stroller!

By JessicaH921

Comments about Evenflo Charleston Jogger Stroller - Sky Blue:

Thanks to the WeeSpring Parent Panel for sending me this stroller! I have a 2 1/2 year old boy and this is his new favorite stroller. It was extremely easy to put together and took no time at all. We live in a city where the sidewalks are not even and this stroller is ver durable and has held up well on the tougher terrain. I was surprised at how light the stroller is and the ride for my son is very smooth and comfortable. Lots of room for phone, keys, blanket, etc which is nice. My only complaint is the cup holder. The cup holder is very flimsy and when running or even walking, my water bottle does not stay put. Other than that I'm very happy with this stroller!

Folds so easily!

By Suzanne

from Brooklyn, NY, United States

Comments about Evenflo Charleston Jogger Stroller - Sky Blue:

Thanks to the weeSpring Parent Panel for sending me this jogger! The best thing about this stroller is that it is so easy to fold! With one hand you pull up a tab in the middle and the whole thing folds down. That's amazing. I also like the small storage pocket where you can stash things like tissues and your phone for easy access while jogging. There is a good flap where you can check in on your child. My son is older so I don't need to look at him during the whole run because he can talk and tell me if he needs something. So I don't care that the flap doesn't stay open as other reviewers mentioned. My biggest issue with this stroller as with any jogging stroller is that they don't turn very well and you have to put a lot of effort into steering. Also the older/heavier your child the harder it is to do this. But as far as jogging strollers go, this one is really good and less expensive than other popular brands.

Great Value for Active Families

By aliveandwell

from Undisclosed

Comments about Evenflo Charleston Jogger Stroller - Sky Blue:

We were lucky enough to receive this Evenflo Charleston jogger as a gift from the WeeSpring Parent Panel. And by some coincidence, a friend gave us an old B.O.B. Revolution from about 4-5 years ago the same week. So we were able to compare both joggers side-by-side. So far, we we haven't yet used the stroller for actual jogging. What we have used it for is walks in our neighborhood, which is older and has very uneven sidewalks warped by trees growing underneath. We also used it for two different Fourth of July fireworks shows in parks with hilly and uneven greens. PROS: -- Very easy assembly -- More undercarriage storage than the older model B.O.B. -- Adjustable height handle bar (older model B.O.B. is fixed) -- Huge canopy that is a hair larger than the older model B.O.B. and did a great job of keeping our daughter dry in the rain when coupled with a heavy blanket for her legs -- Modern, sleek design that is unisex and doesn’t look “budgetâ€ CONS: -- Folding mechanism is supposed to be one-handed, but you really need both hands â€" one to hold the seat down and the other to pull the release handle up VERY hard -- Takes up a lot of room in the car, so it may not be practical for every day use NEUTRAL: -- As others have mentioned, stability might be an issue. In our “jiggle test,â€ the Charleston definitely felt less solid than the B.O.B. There was a lot of give from side-to-side. But in actual use, it felt just fine â€" not at all like it was going to fall apart. But again, we haven’t used it for jogging yet, so it’s difficult to have a strong opinion on this. SUMMARY: I think the Evenflo Charleston Jogger is a great value for active families. It’s a fraction of the price of other joggers, and the big wheels navigate most terrains very easily. We are finding that we still like to leave our umbrella stroller stashed in the car for errands, indoor activities, and general everyday uses. Bu we use the Charleston for walks after dinner and load it into the car when we know we’ll need it. We have plans this summer to go to the beach/boardwalk, a ballooning festival, and more parks, and we will likely take this jogger with us.
