I bought this set for "craft night" with my daughter and it was a hit! My daughter's favorite part of baking is decorating and this fit the bill. The whipple cream is a great consistency when compared to real buttercream and was a lot of fun to work with. If you make a mistake scrape off the "frosting" and clean it off with a little warm water and gently take off excess with a brillow pad. This kept my 5 year old entertained for a good hour and a half and she now dislays her creations in her play kitchen and serves the sweets to her dolls. An excellent toy and craft, I already placed an order for some of the other sets.

My 8 year old daughter loved it. Make sure you knead the bag of pastry real good or it may be runny. It can be a bit messy, but it cleans up well.

My daughter really enjoyed this! It teaches the proper techniques for using a piping bag and she had a great time learning, then using those techniques to decorate the included cakes. My ONLY complaint is that this was a one-time use. After about an hour, we were done. Was fun while it lasted though and some of the food looked incredibly realistic!

You might wanna squeeze out a little cream at first to see if it's too soft or too hard. Also when I opened mine, there was a little liquid that came out first. I had leftover cream so I could practice on my other designs! By the way, it takes two days to dry the cream completely, and there's 3 chains that are included. It was a little messy, and if you mess up, just wipe off with a paper towel and water, but if you let it last too long (30 minutes or so) it'll not come off as easily. Don't push the cream down on the bottom, and if your putting cream in between, make it high because the top pushes it down.

This was a really cool toy! My girls had fun desiging their own "pastries" and ice cream cones and they are the perfect size for their American girl dolls! It came with plenty of "icing" even enough to do a few practice strokes.

My 8 1/2 and 10 yr old daughters love this product. They figured out how to use it without any adult help. They were very proud of their creations and they are really cute. The beginning attempts were a little sloppy, but improved with practice. The set comes with a paper and instructions to practice your frosting technique on before putting it onto your cake. I would suggest purchasing an extra bag of 'frosting' just to be sure to have enough. My kids used the extra to fancy up their earlier creations. Also, additional decorations can be added, such as glitter and such. We really like this product and watch for sales on it. It is a huge hit in our home. Also, when they re-cap the frosting, it does not dry out. It stays soft for the next use. I was glad about that. This would be a wonder gift for a birthday party as well.

This is a beautiful craft toy. I spent 10 minutes with my daughter practicing with the whipple cream prior to start making the treats. The instructions that come in the box are most helpful (check out the website too). It's a lot of fun and the pastries are so cute. We can't wait to get the cupcake set. Out of everything that Santa gave her this is her favorite thing.

My daughter got this for Christmas and we got it out the other night. It was a lot of fun. I did help her do a lot of the piping but she enjoyed designing what went on each treat. We did the whole box in about an hour and they came out very cute. She is planning on using these to play with her American Girl doll. I think you need an adult to help with this unless your child isn't particular about how pretty they come out. My daughter is already looking forward to making the second cupcake box we bought!
