Description



Hisss The Snake-Making Card Game - This playful card game features head cards, tail cards, and mid-section cards. Heads and tails are one color each, but mid-sections have a different color at each end. Players will build snakes together by matching a color from one card to a color from another card until the snake is complete. They'll build long snakes, short snakes, purple, yellow and rainbow snakes! If a player can place down a head or tail card to complete a snake, they say "Hissss! and slide it in front of them. This becomes their "snake pit", and whoever has the most cards in their snake pit, wins the game! Game includes 50 snake cards? 6 heads, 6 tails, 36 mid-sections, 2 wild cards. For 2 - 5 players, ages 4 and up. Playing time is approximately 15 minutes.

        This game is enjoyed by all our kids (10, 9, 5, 3) and parents. It helps the little kids match colors. It is rare to find a game that the entire family can play because of the age differences. We have a lot of fun.

            My husband quite likes to play this with our 3 year old and 5 five year old. It's nice that the pieces are thicker like puzzles instead of being flimsy cards.

            Gamewright makes great games! Although the games may seem simple, they provide hours of entertainment! Hiss is a matching colors game at first, but as the children have gotten older, the strategy has changed and now they work to win with the biggest snake! I learned about this game when my daughter was in speech therapy and she was working on the "s" sound. The therapist made her say "Hissssssss" when she won the snake. We were hooked at that point. My children having been playing this games since they were two and three-years-old, but my husband and I enjoy it too, so this games has lasted four year and we are still counting. Gamewright makes terrific products - Feed the Kitty, Hang Four, Polar Bear Derby to name just a few. You won't be disappointed if you are looking for games the family can play and enjoy.
