I ordered this product despite its low reviews, and was disappointed. It looks like the ink is smeared all over the inside of the tabletop so the picture has a big black bar across the whole table.

Flimsy padded top broke in one day!

I bought this for my 2.5 year old and 4.5 year old. I was not expecting the top of the table to be soft and padded like the seats, but it is. It has a thin layer of vinyl, a layer of soft padding, and then cardboard. Its not good for coloring on unless you put a book or something hard under the paper.
Within an hour of taking this thing out of the box my 2.5 year old had managed to poke holes in the vinyl with colored pencil.

Other than the padded top, it seems fairly sturdy and is a good size for toddlers and preschoolers. I'm not sure it would hold a kid sitting on the table for long though. My suggestion is to only get this if your child is old enough to know not to use anything remotely sharp (like a pencil) on the table top and not to climb on the table.

A better idea is to spend a bit more and get a sturdy wooden table, or if you don't want to spend more go with a hard plastic table instead.

Just bought this yesterday and my kids LOVE it! They've already used it for coloring, play doh and eats snacks there. The table is very sturdy and the chairs include an extra nail for added security. Very satisfied with the product.
