the machine doesn't make enough cotton candy to fill up one cone. The cotton candy does not look anything like the box. I see other reviews and I don't know how they get so much cotton candy to come out. It's not a good product.

Lots of fun, my granddaughter and grandson had fun making the cotton candy. The only bad thing was it came with no mix. I had bought extra package so we were good on the gift.

My 8 year old son wanted this so much he bought it with his own money. He was not disappointed. The whole family did it together and had no problems. Made about 10 batches right away. Does need adult supervision because kids could burn themselves.. Way easy to set up and five minutes to clean. We all loved it.

Bought this as a present for my mom and the whole house loves it!! It makes a generous amount and the clean up was easy. They like the idea of the plastic reusable cones, but the cotton candy doesn't stick to it that well. My parents just roll a paper plate in a cone and it works likes a charm.

As soon as I got it I read the directions and used the 5 min heat up time before I put in a candy cane. The floss was brittle so the next time I waited 5 extra min and the results where just as good as if I were buying it at the county fair. :) I would suggest adding 5 min for warming to the time giving in directions for both the hard candy and granulated sugar. The Craze N Art cotton candy refills are a great way to get fun colored and fun flavored cotton candy and can also be used with this machine.

I got this for a gift for my aunt and uncle and it was a big hit. It takes a bit for the machine to heat up but after that this thing cooks! We tried just normal cotton candy sugar and that worked awesome. Then we tried hard candy and that also worked! I did find that if you smash the candy first it works a lot better. The machine worked so well I got one for my own family! I highly recommend this machine!

Unfortunately, even after all the effort it takes to heat up, wait, and then collect the cotton candy, it doesn't make much for even one cone.

it's so great i love it. the best candy to use with it is life savers. I have five machines and five children. Each child gets one. Each morning they make there own cotton candy breakfast. Even my 2 year old son uses it. He's a pro!! Have a fussy baby? Give a load of homemade cotton candy! It'll put them right to sleep! They don't need teeth to enjoy cotton candy, it melts in your mouth!

I would buy 5 more, if I had 5 more children. Or WHEN i have five more children. I will buy this machine on each of their first birthday. I recently made for cotton candy for the fundraiser at our church! Our pastor said Jesus would be proud.And you what, I believe him!

I could not believe this product actually made cotton candy out of two hard candies as it said it would. My daughter got this gift from Santa and he did a good job picking the right machine.=) It doesn't make much cotton candy but it is definitely there. Just followed the instructions exactly and had a few bites of cotton candy within 10 minutes.
