I could have made a better game. The box it came in is made better than this garbage. The screw holes to attach the goals weren't lined up, attempted to drill new ones and the ENTIRE corner fell off! Glued it all back together (try explaining this to a 3 year old waiting to play). Next day put some batteries into this thing and gave it a whirl. The fan couldn't blow a piece of dust off a Teflon pan. The disc sort of slides if you hit it hard enough, but stops in the center of the board. You can get the same experience with a garden rock and a piece of plywood. Whoever authorized the sale of this thing sure is laughing his ASSets off on a beach somewhere! In short, its nothing more then a $20 battery drainer.

Poor Quality

Opened the box and the end of the game fell off. Didn't even go any further -- just put it back into the box and back to the store. Had a disappointed grandson but what can you do!

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

My boys got this as a holiday gift. The idea of a smaller sized air hockey game seemed great, but the build quality is really bad. First one had the (pre-installed) edges already off when we opened the box, so we immediately exchanged it. For the second one, when trying to put it together we noticed the pre-drilled holes for the screws were not in the right places, but this is easily over come if you have the desire to create a new hole.

Within 10 minutes of use, the pre-installed edges on this one started falling off. They are held on with a few would screws some glue, and some plastic connecting pieces glued on. One of the pre-installed wood screws and two spots of the glue all came undone.

This also could have been easily fixed with some good wood and/or all-purpose glue, but why should one have to rebuild a brand new item? So, back it goes.

As for the play, the kids enjoyed the few minutes they used it. However, the air flow was minimal (probably can't expect too much from a battery powered fan) and there was actually very little difference if the air was on or not.
