Our Beyblade Metal Fusion Battle Top - Lightning L-Drago is an exciting five-piece top lets you customize it to create just the right combination for attack, defense and battle stamina! Unique left-spinning top for maximum attack potential! Battle it out in any Beystadium™ arena (sold separately)! Launcher works only with left-spin tops. Only Spin Track and Performance Tip are interchangeable with other tops. Top includes FACE BOLT™*, ENERGY RING™*: L-Drago, FUSION WHEEL™*: Lightning, SPIN TRACK™*: 100 and PERFORMANCE TIP™*: HF pieces and comes with RIPCORD LAUNCHER™* and assembly tool. Ages 8 and up.

BeyBlade tops are high-performance, spinning battle tops (also called Beys). Their revolutionary design features five separate components, which can all be customized for unique performance. Hundres of combinations are possible, each creating a distinct battle style. With the pull of the ripcord, the tops can be launched into battle. The last top standing wins and no two battles are the same.

Surprisingly enough, it has a lot of stamina due to the HF Performance Tip (when comparing to other Attack Type Beys). A very high risk high reward gimmick I did was to take the Energy ring and replace it with another one, and fit it nicely on a right spin launcher. This produces a very powerful smash attack (even causing the opposing Bey to jump OUT of the stadium) at the cost of reduced stamina.

My 7 year old son takes this and his other beyblades to school every day. He loves pretending he's on the real show and he's one of the real guys. My son doesn't know how to put it together when he gets it, but I don't mind doing it once. The only complaint I have, is that the rip cord is sharp. My son has cut himself twice while playing. Otherwise, this is a fantastic toy!
