My son just turned 2. I got him this cooking set to go with his Step2 Kitchen. He absolutely loves the set, as does every kid/cousin that has come over since. Each pot/pan/tea pot has a different sound (sizzling, boiling, simmering) along with lights that turn on to make it seem like real cooking. The utensils are the perfect size as are pots. A little pricey for the amount of items you get but totally worth it for how long it will occupy your child's attention! My boy usually loves balls...goes to show anyone will love this set!

I purchased a large used step 2 kitchen set for my son & daughter from Craigslist. I got a great deal and the kids love it but it's a little outdated so only the knobs that turn make a little clicking noise. I decided to search for pots and pans that make noise and found this set. Surprisingly, there are not too many options available but I love it! Not only does it make boiling noises, it also lights up. The utensils are just the right size for them. There is an on/off switch so you don't have to hear it go on in the middle of the night, lol. And that also saves on battery life. I wish they made more accessories that compliment this set.

This was a gift for my grand daughter. It was an after thought while making another purchase. She has played with this daily! I had to put a few of the play food items away since she is a bit young for the sizes( choke hazard) but all the pans, utensils & most food are safe. I am very pleased.

We love this set! My son is younger than the suggested age, but he loves to use these with us. He is really hard on them and they have held up nicely so far. The sounds and lights are great!
