      These plates have really helped my soon learn to use his fork and scoop food. It allow him to eat better on his own and he does not get as frustrated as he does with other plates. The non skid bottom helps in keeping the plate from sliding across his highchair tray. The removable ring makes it easy to wash/clean. I would recommend using the forks/spoons too as they have a slight arc to them that is easier for the little ones learning to feed themselves.

          I love how there're less chemeicals, like paraben free as well as BPA free.
          The colored lip comes off for easy cleaning
          The colored lip also makes it easier for my daughter to learn to feed herself (as it gives an edge for food to scoop onto her spoon better).
          These have a no skid bottom which does attach to the TommeeTippy bowl/plate rubber Explora Easi-Mat, so they'll stay on the high chair more, but not perfectly.
          Top rack dishwasher safe- though handwashes very easily too. Very, very pleased with OXO's entry into the children's items EXCEPT their sippy cup was terrible! The food storage bowls were really good too.

            The oxo sippy cups are horrible - they shatter, they leak. Stay away from them.

            HOWEVER, this plate is fantastic. We love the design of the ring on top of the plate. A bit hard to get on and off, but it has really helped our toddler learn how to use a fork. I highly recommend this plate!
