Very cute sturdy doll house, except that the elevator is glued on to the paper covering of the particle board. Because of this it broke almost immediately. We scraped the paper from that one spot and put it back with command strips, reinforced with clear caulk and that worked well and we have been happy with it, but I feel like they could have foreseen it fallen off and should have the character to think about what happens 3 weeks after a happy little girls gets this put together.

Purchased this for my 7 year old daughter last Christmas and she has had hours of enjoyment. It has really held up way better than I had expected. Looks very nice sitting in her room and the colors are very bright. The furniture also has held its condition.

We bought this for Christmas this year. My husband began assembly several nights before. It took him much longer than an hour and he is a carpenter by trade. He found the instructions to be ok but advises to really study the completed picture on the box in addition to the instruction manual. He had to undo a few pieces. The wood rails on a few pieces cracked and he had to stop and glue before continuing assembly.
Now that it is complete and my 9 yr old and her friends have been playing with it for a week we are really happy with it. She loves it and it is roomy enough for 2 to play with. We would recommend this product.

This doll house is for our 7 yr. old daughter and she has been asking for a house for her Barbie dolls and she is going to be so surprised to see how beautiful it really is in person! Her dad put it together in about an hour and had some a few issues but not many in finding the right pieces to go with the directions. We both love the bright spaces and furniture for Barbie, just wish more pieces came with it, but the more pieces you have the easier to loose so it will be fine! Really like how strong the pieces feel because our children can be a bit rough sometimes in playing. We feel it is a great house and glad we purchased it! The true test is when our daughter plays with it on Christmas!

I ORDERED THIS FOR MY 2 1/2 YEAR OLD FOR XMAS 2010. YEP I ALREADY PUT IT TOGETHER, BUT IT IS NOW IN HIDING. I WANTED SOMETHING THAT WOULD BE BIG ENOUGH AND BRIGHT ENOUGH FOR HER TO "RUN" HER OWN HOUSE. I DID EXTENSIVE RESEARCH ON THIS DOLLHOUSE BEFORE PURCHASING. IVE HEARD TERRIBLE THINGS ABOUT PLASTIC DOLLHOUSES SO I WANTED TO START WITH SOMETHING THAT WE COULD KEEP FOR A LONG TIME. I CANT GET OVER JUST HOW PRETTY IT IS AND HOW MUCH IT COMES TO LIFE AS ALL THE PIECES ARE PUT TOGETHER. MMMM I THINK THIS TOOK ME 1.5 HOURS TO DO BY MYSELF AND THAT WAS WHILE WATCHING TV. I LOVE LOVE LOVE THE FURNITURE. THE FACT THAT IT COMES WITH THE FURNITURE IS A BIG + IN MY BOOK ESPECIALLY FOR THE OVERALL PRICE. ITS VERY WELL MADE AS FAR AS IM CONCERNED. DEFINITELY ORDER THIS CHEAPER SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!! I AM ADDING A PICTURE SO EVERYONE CAN GET A REALISTIC IDEA OF HOW BIG THIS THING TRULY IS!!!!I PUT A DOLL AT THE GREEN TABLE FOR SCALE.
