        I chose these pacifiers because I read somewhere that they were best paired with breastfed babies, however my baby hates it and spits it out and appears to not be able to grasp it in her mouth. The nipple is also a bit rigid. My baby was 8lbs 11 oz at birth and is now 3 weeks old. She doesn't have nipple confusion because I also pump bottles for her; not recommended.

        Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

        My son was a preemie and diagnosed with acid reflex... so needless to say has been a fussy baby! We thought he wouldn't take to a pacifier at all, until we found these ones! These are literally the ONLY ones he will take! He does struggle to keep them in his mouth without pushing them out... so we hold them there for him! I am not sure if it is the design of the nipple or if they were just too big for a tiny 5lbs baby?!? He is almost 3months now and as he gets bigger he gets better at holding in his mouth on his own! He loves these things tho and on a sleepless; screaming night they are a life saver!

        Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

          My son was born 7.12, so he is an average baby but these were just too big for him. We have had success with the MAM newborn pacifiers.

          The nipple is the same as the original soothie but I feel it's a tad it smaller. My son has difficulty holding it in his mouth sometimes. Wish it came in a bigger size.

              MY SON LOVED THESE PACIFIERS WHEN HE WAS BORN!!!!! IM SO GLAD THEY ARE IN STORES NOW AND YOU DONT HAVE TO ORDER THEM OFF THERE WEBSITE =) THEY ARE PERFECT JUST LIKE THE SOOTHIES BUT THEY FIT THERE FACE BETTER SO IT DOESNT COVER THEIR LIL NOSES AND THEY ARENT AS HEAVY
