I picked up a bottle of purple bubbles for my toddler, and he has a good time running around after them. As stated on the bottle, the dye in the bubbles WILL stain clothing, walls, etc, so we make sure to wear casual clothing and only use them outside. I haven't had any problems with staining of skin, it washes (or even rubs) right off. The solution is as drippy as other bubble solutions, so it's good to stand over grass or something else you don't want to stain. The dye has washed off of our white sidewalk by rain, though. No problems. The bubble wand has a chunky handle and is easy to grip and hold, there's two big holes and two smaller ones. The solution and wand make plenty of bubbles that are easy to blow. Be careful of the staining, sure, but they're a great and fun thing.

Seriously, do not even consider buying. Hardly makes bubbles, makes a huge mess, and is not easily washable. We have orange stains on our driveway. Rating is 0 stars, one star is being too generous.

If you're a parent that loves the color wonder products because of their mess free capabilities this is NOT a product for you. If you don't care about messes this product is great. The bubbles come out nice and bright. They work really nice in bubble art projects as well. They do drip and they do stain. The stains came out of the cement after a few rainfalls and some nice sunny days but remained permanently in my children's play clothes.

First, Crayola warned that these would be messy. It also warned if there were any concerns of staining on surface to test a small portion before use. Furthermore what did you expect from colored bubbles, regular bubbles are messy to start with, adding color wasn't going to make it neater! Lol My kids and I loved these, we made sure we had on our play clothes and used a part of the yard we knew would be okay if a little mess was made ( all this per Crayola's recommendation) Definitely will be buying more and would love to see more colors brought to the line! Great job Crayola and thanks for the additional warnings and precautions you clearly stated!

Very cool idea, but a huge mess. The color dripped all over the patio, myself, and where ever the bubbles popped, there left the color. We all made sure to not wear good clothing, but my hands were stained purple and yellow for the rest of the day. The yellow barely shows as yellow in bubble form, but it definitely makes its mark on your clothes.
I think we are sticking to regular bubbles, fun and clean!

This is an AWEFUL product. Bubbles are usually so harmless. Thanks to these I now have a BLUE DRIVEWAY! They leak and spill and made a huge mess that was every wear. We washed the driveway right away before they even dried and scrubbed with dawn and bleach. NOTHING helped. I am so angry as another user said I think Crayola deserves to be sued over this one. They are usually so trustworthy and have some great washable products but this has caused permanent damage to something I basically can't replace.

My problem with these bubbles IS NOT THE MESS. The box says "Messy Fun," "Outdoor Use Bubbles." The color did wash out of our clothes, hands, and even the dog's fur. The problem is that the solution dripped so terribly that it was all over said things!

If this toy had worked, the fun would have outweighed the mess outside. WHEN the bubble shooter worked (which was only for 10 minutes), it leaked horribly. More solution leaked out of the machine than were used to make bubbles even though the bottle was assembled properly and the machine was held exactly as recommended. Again, even if the blower didn't leak, it's hard for a kid to hold it upright and crank the spinner with their left hand anyway.

The shooter only worked for 10 minutes, and then, even though the sliding thing over the exit hole was moving up and down, the solution just fizzed in a sticky pool in the bottom of te barrel.

The bubble solution itself is too thick to actually blow bubbles regularly with the wand because it drips right off of the stick.

My daughter was disapponted with this toy and cried because it didn't work.

I was disapointed in the limited choice of colors- It would be great to see For 4th of July a red and blue. Also green... I bought these for my grandson and he said the same thing!!!

Don't wast your money,,,, to just throw it away,,,, that is what I did threw them away,yuck.... My kids were covered in colored bubbles from head to toe....they are slimey and what a mess, color does not come out of clothing and you have to. Wash it off the driveway.......
