My son was very excited about race track...I bought from the store without reading the reviews....I had to return it...Very very very poor quality.....Don't buy,,,,so waste of money!!!

I recently purchased the Sonic the Hedgehog race track set and I am very disappointed. My nephew was so happy and excited as he opened it on Christmas it made me so happy to know that he would love it. Unfortunately the whole tack is flimsy and of poor quality. The sonic action figure broke off of the vehicle while in use and the second sonic was really loose also. The race track would keep un clipping causing the race cars to get stuck on the track. Another issue that was not properly reviewed was that the cars come off the track when making the turns on the curves. Even after putting up all the post and fencing they still fly right off. The stickers were also falling off the product! It was very poor quality. I also did not like that the steering object to steer the vehicles has a wire connected to the track and you have to be literally hovering over the track to use it!

Usually slot car tracks have limited lives, so I should have know better. One car stopped working after 1 day. The cars are too big so they touch and force each other off of the track. My 4 year old became very frustrated. Luckily I saved the receipt!

The car will not go under the bridge. Red Car's head is too tall and the bridge is too short for the car to go under. The cars WILL fly off the track. Frusterated because my son was so excited for this on Christmas. WASTE OF MONEY. DO NOT BUY.

The batteries don't even make a connection in the battery pack. I had to slip foil between the batteries to complete the circuit.

The cars fly off the track. The bridge is too low for the red car to pass under.

I can't believe they are allowed to sell toys that are this bad. you'd think the manufacturer wouldn't sell toys that are obviously flawed. Anything to make a buck I guess.

My 5 yr old son used a gift card he got for his birthday to purchase this racetrack. We brought it home and put it together. The track and other accessories are cheaply made and the sonic car wouldn't work. We got the red one to work, but it kept flying off the track and couldn't clear the bridge. We will be returning this item. My son is disappointed since he really wanted this racetrack.

I am a 32 year old mom, My son got this as a gift, he loves sonic and is 5 years old. It says on packaging 5+. I assembled it with my husband and the track is cheaply made, My husband and I had the first race to show our boys how it works and could not even make it around the track once. The Sonic and Knuckles kept coming off the track, Sonic quit working midway through the first race and made my 5 year old cry. He couldn't even play with his birthday gift. I don't have a receipt, but family purchased it from Toys R Us so I am hoping I can take it back and switch for something else my son may want.

What a waste of money!! The track is flimsy, the cars fly off the track or if you go too slow they stop. This is the poorest quality toy I have ever seen. It was especially disappointing to see my 4yr old so frustrated. You know something is bad when, at first, your child cries when you tell him you have to take it back then the next day he looks at you and says, "ok Mom, let's take it back".

We got the Sonic Race for my son he LOVES Sonic and once he saw it (3 months before Christmas) thats all he talked about. So we got it for him for christmas and like all the other reviews the same thing happened the red car wouldn't work a and the cars fly off. When we were taking it apart the silver part on the track came off. We took it back to replace it and they were all out of it. As I read the reviews obviously its not just the one we bought so I doubt we will be getting him another one, just feel bad for my son because thats the only thing he really really wanted and still talks about it. So we let him go pick out something out.
