This literally couldn't get ANY better. Its durable and fun.. lots of imagination and things to do. Its still in GREAT shape and its ginormous. WAY bigger than you think it would be for that price.     This was purchased for my 5 yr old son for xmas. It took me about 3 hrs to put it together, which isn't too bad considering all it entailed. My son plays with it constantly! The jail cells open up, the garage doors go up-there's so much going on with this set! Even better, there are tons of add-on sets which makes his birthday list easy as pie! I got this on sale for [$] but definitely worth paying a bit more. I'd watch for sales, though!

                I do feel it is pretty pricey. Luckily I was able to purchase when all the Lego products were buy one get one half off!

                My 10 yr old got this Christmas morning and he and his dad spent the afternoon and the next day putting it together. He's so proud of himself for figuring out how to build it. He showed me all the "cool things" it has. Anything that is not electronic or sports that can hold his attention this long is a miracle. I've only 2 problems with it (and all Legos in general): there are so many pieces if a couple are lost forget putting it together again. I purchased the Lego storage cases to help him keep the projects separated. The second problem I have with it (and again-all Legos) is that they are insanely over-the-top crazy expensive. I mean, it's plastic for crying out loud! I bought them when a store had buy one get one 50% off. One last thing: it hurts if you happen to step on one of these things barefoot.

                    My 6 year old spent an hour building it on Christmas day but he's been playing with it non stop ever since. He already has a lego collection and this was a nice addition. I only wish lego would use thicker bricks for the construction of the buildings.
