I didn't think I'd like this one, but it's quite fun. The build is pretty straight-forward with enough variation to keep from getting bored. The rotating mechanism for the engine pods works very well and is easy to use. I Really Like: -It's nice to have more bounty hunters -Very good features for such a small design. The hidden prisoner compartment, the holocron storage, rotating engine pods, the cockpit with removable weapon storage... -No flick-fire missiles :) -The ship design is very close to the original and the color scheme works very well. Needs Improvement: -The top of the cockpit swings open if the ship goes much further than 90 degrees from level. There needs to be some sort of latch or friction to keep it closed. -I'm not a fan of the assassin droid. It just seems like a quick attempt to fill out the minifigures. I dont think anyone would've missed it if it had been left out. -The weight of the engines tend to pull them down from "flight mode" if you're not holding onto the end of the ship This is a fun ship to build and fly. Like many others, I wish the cockpit was large enough to hold another minifig, but I'll get over it. I would definitely recommend this set.

This set looked great on the store shelf, but ultimately did not impress me too much. While I wouldn't characterize the build experience as "basic," it is straightforward and the finished droid carrier vehicle is what it is. The droid rack fits snugly in the vehicle and pops out to release the droid legions, but the construction is not as elegant as it is in the MTT model from 2007. Makes it a little sturdier, I suppose, but the droids are not quite as accessible. What did impress me were the new gungan minifigures, which are AWESOME. Too bad there are only 2 to stave off an entire squadron of droids. Another pro to this set is that the price is right, $25US for about 250 parts, so you can't say it's not worth the money. My overall assessment, however, is that this is essentially a glorified battle pack. If you really love the gungans or are looking to build an impressive droid army, this is a great set for you. Otherwise, there are better sets to spend your money on.

The 2011 set is by no ...

By iReckon

from Undisclosed

Comments about LEGO City Prisoner Transport (7286):

The 2011 set is by no means LEGO’s definitive take on the Millennium Falcon, but it is much more affordable than its huge, ultimate collector’s edition, and a much better model than any of its other small and mid-scale incarnations. Despite its hull being speckled with incongruous shades of Republic burgundy, the ship is the spit of its silver screen self, both inside and out. Arguably the interior is even more impressive than the familiar exterior as it boasts a whole host of movie-authentic features, such as the holographic ‘chess’ board and under-floor hiding spaces, while offering astonishing 360degrees playability. Every panel of the ship’s hull opens out, offering full and easy access to the many goodies inside. Themed around the original Star Wars movie’s ‘Death Star escape’ sequence, the set comes with a fantastic array of minifigures: Han Solo, Chewbacca, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia and Darth Vader. Many of these have been tweaked for added realism since they were last seen - Leia’s face and hair are more expressive, Han’s trousers are the right colour, and Luke has finally shed his girly locks in favour of a more redolent 70s-style mop. Luke and Obi-Wan are multi-purpose too - a spin of Luke’s head and a swap of hair for helmet gives you the blind, remote-battling Jedi wannabe; a swap of grey hair for hood gives you sneaky old Ben. Not bad, but the first version was better

By Rommodus

Comments about LEGO City Prisoner Transport (7286):

I've been lucky enough to own and build both this version of the Millennium Falcon, and the previous version, which was based on the Hoth Escape from Empire Strikes Back. Sadly, I have to say that focusing on just the build and the play-ability of the two ships, I preferred the older version to the newer one. For starters, the new hyperdrive build is really lazy. it rattles around and moves all over the place. It really should have been left to its old design as it now takes up more space. Next is Luke's face...that's also part helmet. Seriously? Now I can't use Luke's head piece without having his helmet somewhere nearby, or else he looks like some kind of weird blind-cyborg. Why is Chewy's crossbow it's own color of gray? It's somewhere between the new medium and dark grays...there's no apparent reason for this. The escape pod was completely removed, and instead of that, we're given the ability for Luke and Han to climb into the gunner positions in the central shaft (Or Chewy and Leia, if that's how you play). The central gunner positions are an awesome addition, but I fail to see why the escape pod feature was completely removed. There is still space in the build for it, it's just occupied now by solid bricks. Another strange feature change was the cargo-smuggling spots. They now have less room overall, and the entire bottom portion of the falcon was created in such a way as to only look aesthetically accurate from the ONE angle they shoot the picture from. Overall, the set is quite playable and there is ample room inside for all sorts of imaginary scenarios. A major improvement over the first design is the additional playable room in the back of the ship. Oh, I almost forgot my favorite feature: pieces built into the walls to hold the weapons. There are small grabber pieces that are included to allow you to click the various hand-held weapons into place when not being needed by the characters. This isn't a common feature in lego sets, and I would really like to see it more often. For example, the Republic Gunship kit comes with five weapons and no where to store them when not in use. Good kit overall, but one star off since it could be better.

NICE LEGO SET !!!!!!

Comments about LEGO City Prisoner Transport (7286):

I got this for christmas in 2011 when in the same year it came out and I was impressed with it because so far to date it is my only Falcon until they make a new one. The PROS are the figures and the ship the CONS are a few details in the ship like the boarding ramp and the cockpit. It has a lot of play value mainly inside the ship so if u don't have a Falcon I would by it !!!!!!

Amazing set!!!!!

By starwarsCollector

Comments about LEGO City Prisoner Transport (7286):

This set was amazing to build there was only one boring part but I hate repeating steps over and over again. But other then that it was good I was able to get it from the online USA Lego store so I got it for $140.00 the only random thing that Lego did was that they put Darth Vader in it he never even stepped in the Flacon so that was weird but who knows. Anyways the box it comes in is pretty big not huge like the UCS star wars sets but a good size when I held the whole box it's a few pounds. The thing I like the most is it has a very big inside witch you can fit a ton of men in it. It also has two beds and you can fit two men inside the cockpit others say you can't but you can as long as you have Solo's hand back and you can fit chewy in

NOM NOM EAT 'EM UP

By EpicBOSS505

from Port Washington

Comments about LEGO City Prisoner Transport (7286):

This set is waaaay better than the old version (Except for the fact that the old one came with Jabba's Sail Barge) and is waaaay better for playing. Pros: 1. You can put that weird alien freak and Boba Fett in the Sarlacc Pit 2. Lando looks AMAZING 3. There is a trunk in the middle for storage 4. Boba Fett has a movable antenna 5. Boba Fett is more movie accurate (The tip of his gun comes off, his helmet has scratches) Cons: 1. This doesn't come with Han Solo or Chewbacca 2. This also doesn't come with handcuffs for anyone 3. There's nothing to hold the transparent pieces together, like a tile that looks like sand, like in the old version
