Great set for my 5 yr old, who has gone through several small to medium LEGO sets. Based on experience so far, this is a great set for this age/skill. The small side pieces provided instant gratification, and big truck piece provided a nice challenge. Quite a few pieces, nice for teaching patience and the usual 3D spatial lessons. Nice price for the set. Consistent, excellent product quality.
