I bought this product because of how cute and unique it is. My son used it when we was about two months old and not very strong and it snapped. The whole thing caved in and completely didn't work. I sent it back to the Boppy company and they sent me a brand new one. I dont even think i am going to waste my time opening this one. I would not advise anyone to buy this play mat until they re design it.

Very cute and our daughter loves it. Great plush toys and lots of variety. I agree with pp, the supports are flimsy so if you are rough with it it won't hold up well.

The plush toys kept my babies attention and it is easy to clean. However, after not even a month, we became aware that the entire frame sags so all the toys hang in my daughter's face, one of the toys ripped while trying to put it through a loop(trying to change position because it was hanging so low), and then while moving it one day one side of the frame completely snapped.
NOT a very sturdy product... i would not recommend getting this playmat.

I loved this gym as it is one of the few out there that is not overly stimulating but after 1 week both of the plastic rods holding the bars up in place are snapped in two. The whole thing sags despite my attempt at using zip ties to hold the ends of the rods together. I'm surprised there are not more bad reviews on here. I received this as a gift as soon as it came out otherwise I always check a website named after a large rain forest for reviews first. ; )

Registered for this playmat because I love the other Boppy products, and this playmat wasn't as..aesthetically offensive....as many of the other playmats. Sadly, it hasn't held up well - after just a month of use the supports are VERY saggy, falling nearly all the way to one side...the plushies just hang right in our sons face. It really it not very stimulating...the three plushy toys just are not that special and if I hang other toys on it - they are usually too heavy and make it sag even worse. I wish this playmat would have worked - it is really cute and was good in "before-I-actually-had-a-baby-theory", but like lots of baby gear - now that I have an actually baby I wish I had chosen the obnoxious looking playmats that function rather then the cute one that doesn't. ;)
Oh, and as another commenter added - the slippery fabric and slippery mini boppy just slides all over the place. You can't lay your baby on his tummy or back on the mini boppy without it just sliding out from under him.

My son loves to play on this mat! He likes the bright colors and the plush toys with different textures keep his attention. I love that the toys can easily slide on the bars or attached through button holes to give him a variety of different toys in different locations each day. The little bumble bee that lights up and plays a tune is a delight!

This product goes well with my great room's decor but from what I'm reading and what the pediatrician said, this mat is not going to be good for us. At first, I wanted everything to match my decor but I'm finding out that my daughter needs much more than an interior design match. She really needs visual stimulation, vibrant varieties of color, textures, sounds, and (maybe) even lights. Greatly contrasting color is good for babies and helps them distinguish between object while they are still gaining good eyesight and depth perception. I didn't realize this mat would be lacking in so many of those areas. I'm keeping the mat to use just for carrying along in my car but for our lengthy everyday 'tummy time' sessions I'll be sticking with a different brand that I bought that has a plethora of color, textures, light, and sound. Olivia is happier than ever on that mat and I'm very happy about that since she spends so much time there. I would hate for her not to be stimulated and tire or get bored as quickly as she did with this mat.

Our baby LOVES it. she can spend 1 hour playing without getting bored. the music is great and she can play it just by bumping the bee.
BUT, we've had it for 3 months and it is almost destroyed: the arches are broken so the upper art is falling apart. that is too bad. also, the fabric is synthetic and slippery. not the best. Finally, the finishing touches are not the best (I am sure equivalent to all others mats). I would pay 50% more for the same but higher quality mat made in USA...

I love Boppy and they always have wonderful products. This play gym/mat is no different! My little boy loves rolling around on the mat and reaching for the toys. Thank you, Boppy, for another fabulous, cute and adorable product!

I bought this gym because I loved the "garden veggie" theme - the carrots and the lettuce are so cute! All the toys are super nice - not like some of the little plastic ones that come with other gyms and seem really cheap. These are all really great toys. Setting it up was very easy - the bars have elastic loops on the end that slide right over the toy balls (which are attached to the mat). But what I really love is the toy arch- it is easy to set my little guy down in the gym and not feel like I'm getting tangled in the bars. And of course the little boppy pillow is great.
