I bought this seat after trying out the Graco Nautilus,which I loved but it was too big for my Kia Spectra. This seat is terrible too install! The place where you weave the seat belt through is very very very small that I could barely fit my hands through it so there was no way my husband was going to be able to without moving the fabric out of the way.

After installation (15 million hours) I put my son in it (he is 12 months old, 24 lbs and 31 inches tall) and right away I could tell he was uncomfortable. When he fell asleep his head slouched so much! Maybe its because it does not fir properly in my Kia but it seemed to not tighten that well too.

I also have my 6 year old daughter that has to fit in the back seat and she rides in a Graco Nautilus (great booster btw) and there was no way I can fir both seats in the back.

So overall, do not waste your money on this carseat if you have a small or medium size car.

Also, the straps got stuck in one position and do not adjust anymore. Before that they left red marks all over my son from rubbing on his neck. The straps were not too tight or too lose either.

We are two parents working full time with two girls, ages 2 and 3.Our family is on a budget but have done our best to get the most (and safest) for our money. Had the chicco key fit system for the girls when they were baby's. Then went with the Britax Marathon. We were very pleased with both. After the Britax, this car seat was a big change. It's difficult to get this car seat tight in our Pathfinder. It always seems like the base of it is loose. Even the latch system is difficult to get tight enough. Even driving your knee into the seat and pulling up with your full body weight, the design doesn't allow for enough leverage to get it snug. This is really my only complaint, though it's kind of a significant one. The seat is good otherwise. It seems like my daughter is comfortable in it.

Got this car seat yesterday! It was very easy to install Im very happy with it. It is heavy and sturdy and seems very safe for my 18 month old daughter. I love that it can grow with them till they are able to get out of the carseat completley and reasonably priced for a good product!

I did a lot of research for a safe, yet affordable, car seat. Though we've been satisfied with most aspects of this car seat during the past year of use, it is very difficult to install due to the type of clips it uses. My husband threatens me to not buy this brand again unless the manufacturer changes the clips which attach to the anchors. My in-laws purchased a Britax brand, and my husband said its installation took 5 minutes, while the Eddie Bauer was a nightmare to put in our vehicle.
Because of the installation issue, this makes cleaning the seat a pain because you have to take it completely out of the car and disassemble the car seat to remove the cover.

I liked that it's lightweight, convertible, and able to hold my child saftely and securely until she's up to 100lbs.

I originally bought this car seat from [...] and sent it back because it did not come as pictured[...].and it was also going to be cheaper to get it from here. [...] In the photo, you'll see above the buckle, there are comfort straps that are on the shoulder harness. I was very specific in my request to make sure that the seat would come with these. (My daughter, like me, has very sensitive skin and the slightest thing sets her off in a rash...I didn't want the straps rubbing up against her causing any problems). [...] I purchased this seat in a different color scheme from babies r us for my son two years ago, and that seat came with the straps..[...] Anyway...I installed the seat myself. I have a PT Cruiser and the seats slope a little in the back, so there wasn't a level surfact to have it sit on, so I had to use a rolled up towel to make sure to get the seat level, but other than that, no problems with installation. The car seats are a little big and take up pretty much my entire back seat between the two of them. Even in my husbands vehicle (Jeep Liberty), they still take up a pretty good amount of space, but I don't think it's anything that would prevent me from purchasing the seat. Again, my son has this exact same seat in a different color, and I'd like to point out that the recline feature does not work as easliy as expected when the seat is forward facing. And by that...I mean, it doesn't work at all once the seat is installed. So we reclined the seat to the position we wanted it and then installed it. It obviously wasn't a huge deal or we never would have bought the seat again for my little girl...but just wanted to throw that out there. Both my kids seem to be comfortable in the seats. We periodically take long road trips (5 hours +) to visit family and they are usually very relaxed and comfy in the seats. My son, (forward facing) does sometimes have a problem with his head dropping forward if he falls asleep, which I hate, but honestly...I've not really read a review anywhere on any car seat that doesn't have that problem. All in all, I am pleased with the seat...there are a few minor changes that would make it better, but overall, I would buy it again if there were ever a third baby.

I absolutely love this seat!! My son stayed Rear Facing until he was 32 lbs, but he is really tall so we had to flip him. The belts are so much easier to adjust, making it quicker to keep your kids safe! I will be buying this for my daughter when she is 6 months.
