The Seeker

On his fourteenth birthday, Will Stanton discovers he is the last of a group of warriors to dedicate his life to fighting the forces of the Dark. While traveling back and forth through time, Will is lead by a series of clues into a showdown with forces of unimaginable power. The Dark is once again rising, and the future of the world rests in Will Stanton's hands.

Eragon

Ruling the Kingdom of Alagaesia, evil King Gabatorix is power hungry and won't let anyone or anything get in his way. A former dragon rider, King Gabatorix betrayed his mates and his people all in his quest for power. Orphan farm boy, Eragon, discovers a blue stone sent by Princess Arya. Eragon soon realizes this is no ordinary stone, it's a dragon egg. When dragon Saphira is born, Eragon is introduced to his mentor, Brom. Foreseen in an ancient prophecy, Eragon becomes the dragon rider that will set his people free from tyrant Galbatorix. Eragon meets the rebels Varden and together they fight against the evil sorcerer Durza and the army of Galbatorix in a journey for freedom.
