Comments about Peg-Pérego Peg Perego Pliko P3 Stroller - Apricot:

We bought this model because we wanted a from-birth stoller and didn't want to do a travel system. The best thing about it is that it's pretty (we got the Apricot colour). So that's not saying much. For the price, you can do much better. You are basically paying for the name.

Eight months on now in our use, and my son still slumps down in the seat even though he sits upright just fine in other strollers that we have borrowed from friends. The Eddie Bauer for instance is a great stroller and he sat upright in that just fine at 4 months, plus it had an easier fold and a better basket.

Other cons are that Peg Pilko are really hard to fold. I have to get my husband to help every time because I cannot hold the baby and fold the stroller. You pull up on the handles to release the frame, then yank by the basket. Yes, it does fold quickly, but cannot be done with babe in arms. It's also heavy. It would be a good stroller maybe for someone who plans to use it in suburbia, for the mall and occasional walk, and just stash in and out of the trunk. But we live in the city and have to take it in and out of an apartment. I've tried Britax and City Mini in store since and these seem both more affordable and better for city dwellers. I may sell my Peg and get one of those, though truthfully I would feel bad to sell this to anyone.

Pros: It does have a nice fast and easy recline for baby, probably its one redeeming quality. Wheels are good and can go over grass in the park. Basket is big but difficult to access.

More cons: Can't steer one-handed. The arm of the stroller bent after only 4 months of use and this means the canopy pops off on one side. My son can also kick the snack tray off and does. Adult cupholder comes with but is the snap-on kind and falls off easily. We've already lost ours. You have to learn how to fold it because the release is on the handles, but it also has other buttons that extend the handles for the tall pusher. If you get confused the next thing you know you'll be pushing your baby with the frame detached and ready to fold! I never did this but baby's grandpa did.
