    This was one of the few sledding items still available at this time of the year; therefore, there weren't too many choices available. Since I still wanted my 7 yr. old granddaughter to have a chance to try sledding, I purchased this. It was much thinner than I expected, but it did serve it's purpose. She enjoyed having a chance to ride the snow with laughs and giggles in the process.

      I ordered this because it was impossible to find a sled in stores after the holidays, and my son, who is 9, wanted one like his friends. When I first saw it I was skeptical that it would hold up, because it is pretty thin and flimsy looking. But after 3 major snowstorms and lots of use, it shows no sign of wear and my son loves it! It goes pretty fast down the hills!

        This sled is not at all what I expected. I should have looked at it in the store and paid more attention to this sled's dimensions under "More Information" online: It is less than a quarter of an inch thick!! The nice photography and design led me to believe that it was actually a 3D picture of a sled that was recessed in the middle. It is a flat piece of foam with a slippery underside and two cutout holes for hands. I have no idea how two kids could ride this at one time. LUckily, I bought this on sale. I'm old so "Flexible Flyer" brings up 3D images. Oh well, maybe my 5 year old grandson will enjoy it anyway?
