      We have these straps (although the puppies, not he monkeys) for use with our 5 wk old's car seat and love them. The puppies' heads seem like they'd be annoying to her, as they look like they're squishing right into the bottom of her cheeks by her chin, but she doesn't seem to mind... we find her playing with the puppies in her sleep and sucking on their heads when she's hungry, so it helps keep her entertained as well as comfortable! We've had to wash them several times and dried them in the dryer all w/o any problem.

      Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
