Double your flying fun with this 2 rocket launch set. The Estes HiJinks and Rascal are the perfect choice when you need a new rocket for an exciting day of model rocket flying! Almost ready to fly, the HiJinks and Rascal are super sonic rocket demons. Using standard Estes engines, each rocket is capable of reaching stratospheric heights over 1,200 feet, yet is easily recovered on their colorful and fully assembled parachutes. Each can be assembled in a couple of hours. Launch Set includes an Estes Launch Pad and Launch Controller. Estes Launch Controller requires 4 AA 1.5V Alkaline batteries - sold separately. Estes Model Rocket Engines required - sold separately. Recommended for aged 10 and up with adult supervision for those under 12.

There are 2 rockets assembled. NOTE: You need to go to a hobby store & purchase the engines, wadding, etc. Could cost an additional $25-$30. They go far so you will have to watch launching on a windy day. We lost one on a roof. All in all, it was exciting and great fun! The kids are 3 & 4. When they are old enough they will make their own rockets.

My son received this as a gift for his 8th birthday. We spent about 30 minutes or so preparing what was to be an amazing experience for he and I alike. The rocket went off with no hitches, rocketted to heights unimaginable for a toy rocket, and recovery of the rocket was simple enough. Just a word of caution, be prepared to launch with the wind pattern. His rocket landed over 1500 feet downwind. We have used it multiple times and each time still amazes us.

I realize fuel cannot be shipped. However, it should be noted online that it is needed before giving as a gift. Fortunately ToyRUs is around the corner or our grandson would have been disappointed to receive a gift he could not use.
