We got this bag when my son was 1 and daughter 3 for day trips and flights. It's a bag for on the go people with kids that have gained some independence. It has 2 pockets for sippy cups. Small compartment for diapers(5-8)and creams on top, easily accessable. 1 large compartment for blankets, toys, big books that has no pockets so it can get a little messy. What's good though is that the zipper can be opened on either side of the bag and either at the top or the bottom so if you remember which order you put the stuff in it's easy to get to. The 2 outer pockets have multiple mesh compartments for keys, band-aids, a binky etc. It keeps the smaller items well organized. The biggest plus on this bag - the wipe compartment is AWESOME. You can have the bag on your back and easily get a wipe out when that snot comes flying out instead of digging through a regular diaper for the box of wipes. There are no insulated compartments for bottles, can't hold all the thing you need for a newborn so don't buy it if you need one for a little baby. I'm currently pregnant with my 3rd child and I'm definately not using this packpack for him. we've ahd the bag for 2.5 years now and after daily use it still looks like new.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

    My husband and I bought this for a trip to Italy...we used it for two weeks..in the first 4 days the zipper broke! I was so mad that I had spent so much money on a piece of JUNK! DO NOT BUY THIS!!!

    Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
