    I don't know why people are complaining that it makes a "big, watery mess." What did you expect? Clearly, some people do not know how to read. It's a color changing set so obviously, water will get all over the place. I don't expect my child to play nice with water, especially boys. They love to make a splash. This toy is outstanding, goes well with all of the color changing vehicles we have. Overall, very satisfied. For those who complained about the mess, do us a favor and READ BEFORE PURCHASING, it might help!

    It stinks - first, it only comes with one car that is blue and when you make it cold it turns green (big deal). The wash tank leaks all over the place even when you don't squeeze it. Can only use in the kitchen or you will have water everywhere. Do NOT Buy for anyone! I plan to take it back to exchange for something else.

        purchased two of these in the past week. both ramones were defective would not and could not change color no matter what. both are going back to the store. my son was very unhappy as this was the birthday present he wanted the most!

                  My two year old son loves this playset and I was shocked that it received such a low rating on here. It is a bit messy so he uses it in the tub and he asks to play with it all day long, his favorite time of the day has now become tubby time. I look forward to letting him use it outside so that he can play with it even more often.

                            I don't know of any toy that uses water that doesn't make a big watery mess. Yes, water will get everywhere but my kids (6 & 8) played TOGETHER with this for hours! When they got bored changing the color they turned it into a car wash and lined up all 50+ of our hotwheel/matchbox cars and drove them all through. We put a towel down on the kitchen table and changed it when it became completely soaked. It will definately be an outdoor toy when the weather permits.
