These brushes are the PERFECT size to clean breast pump shields and valves! The smaller size fits perfectly to get to all of the hard to clean areas. The only downfall is that the handle of first brush broke after about 4 months of use (pumping and washing parts twice per day while at work), BUT they come in a 2-pack so I had an extra brush to use which should last me at least another 4 months and I will be done pumping by that time. I loved these little brushes.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

This brush worked good for initial period and could reach small areas, where regular brush didn't reach. But both the brushes broke near the handle in 2 months.And its expensive too.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

The brush that comes with the Dr. Brown's bottles doesn't really have a handle, it's just a piece of looped wire and it's hard to grasp and clean bottles with. This brush is the perfect size to fit into the 4oz and 8oz bottles, and I love that it has a nice big handle that is comfortable. I still use the included Dr. Brown's brush to clean inside the small parts, but this is great for cleaning out the inside of the actual bottle! I love it.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
