With a 4 months old infant the Bob is not recommended, but the car seat caddy is not ideal for off pave road strolls hence the use of the Chicco car seat adaptor for the Bob, an easy and quick way to get the best of both worlds: infant(head) optimally cradle while having a better stroller for non-paved surfaces.

This is a great idea and it's nice to use the BOB stroller with newborns - 6 months. Super easy to install and remove.

I love my BOB stroller and this car seat adapter helps me get even more use out of it. I have a britax infant seat and it works great with this adapter. Being able to put the seat in the stroller right from the car saves my back from having to carry the seat into the store and then heave into cart. The manual says that you can fold up the BOB with the adapter still on it but I haven't been able to figure out how to do that. So I just remove the adapter in order to fold up the stroller. takes 2 seconds to clip it back in when I need it.

Once you get the BOB put together, this is a cinch to install. Works great for our Chicco infant car seat.

Really I have nothing negative to say about this item if you own the Chico carseat Nd the bob stroller and want to be able to use hem together this item is a must! It slides onto the stroller and locks into place very easily. The car seat also snaps on top of the adapter in one easy snap. The best part is that you can still fold the stroller up without having to remove the adapter!

Received this last week and cannot say how much I love it! It took less than 10 seconds to install. The car seat clicks right in like it clicks into the base. I like the added safety of the strap, makes me feel that my son is very secure. I am so glad BOB make a Chicco specific attachment! I bought a Chicco seat because of its safety ratings and wanted a BOB stroller badly. So happy it came out before my little one was born!

The people spoke and BOB listened...sort of.
The biggest complaint about the old car seat stroller adapter is that it didn't "officially" work with any Chicco car seat models. In 2011, BOB introduced a new line of strollers as well as a Chicco specific adapter. Hooray!

Except and here's the fine print: it doesn't work with any other strollers except the new 2011 models.
So if you have an older BOB stroller, even if, like mine, it's only 3 months old, this new car seat adapter WILL NOT WORK with your stroller. I only know this because ours came in the mail today and my husband tried unsuccessfully, to install it. It says it works with strollers with an "accessory adapter." Note that this is not the same part that you can attach a snack tray or an older car seat adapter to. It's a newly designed part on the new 2011 strollers. So we'll have to send it back and settle for the older model that doesn't "officially" work with Chicco (but all the reviews says it works just fine.)

Just be warned, unless you're also going to buy a new 2011 stroller, this product isn't useful!
