We introduced this pacifier at 2 weeks old and my newborn loves it. We didn't have any problems with nipple confusion. It is the only one that "fits" her tiny mouth. Definitely recommend soothies for all new babies!

Initially I had no intention of giving my baby a pacifier but she was born prematurely and then spent 3 months in the NICU, so all of that went quickly out of the window. She was given this type of pacifier in the hospital and after getting her home and trying others, she just preferred this one. Like others, I hated going out of the house with it because of the lack of pacifier clip. You have to find the kind that has the 'noose'/loop at the end. It's typically the fabric kind. I got one as a gift but the loop fell off and I didn't know where to find a replacement. I finally found it today at Babies R Us. I'll feel a lot better sending my baby to daycare tomorrow now that her pacifier will be nice and secure.

I didn't want my baby using a pacifier from the beginning and against my wishes, the hospital gave it to her so she became dependent on it for the first 2-3 months before we weaned her off. I liked that it was all one piece but it did get dirty super fast and it would hit her nose. I tried switching her to an orthodontic pacifier but she just liked this one at the time. Then when she started teething (late, around 8-9 months old) she picked it up again and caused one bottom tooth to come out slightly crooked so I don't recommend this pacifier. Also, I rather her have a pacifier over her sucking on her fingers. Now that she's not so picky with a pacifier, I've given her an orthodontic one by Tommee Tippee since it has more airflow for her sensitive skin.

Our son was born 11 weeks premature and was in the NICU for 8 weeks. During his hospitalization, these were the type of pacifiers he was introduced to. Since he learned on these pacifiers, we have stuck with them at home and have purchased additional quantities from here so that we have them readily available where ever we need them. They are the only type of pacifier that our son will take (we tried the orthodontic types, and he spits them right out). These are good quality and durable pacifiers. We absolutely love and highly recommend them.

My husband and I have heard a lot of hype about these pacifiers, so we purchased a twin pack in hopes our newborn would like them. (We also told ourselves he wouldn't have a pacifier unless he absolutely needed one. Then he had jaundice and had to be underneath LED lights, with no clothes, just a diaper, and a mask on. That's where the pacifier came into use.)

I like that it soothes our lil guy without giving him gas and it fits in his mouth just perfect.

However, it does get dirty easily because we don't have a clip on it so it rolls across the floor often and then gets washed just as often. It does get lint, pet hair, etc. inside the nipple, which in return gets washed again. As many times as we throw it in the dishwasher it has maintained its construction and durability.

I tried an "orthodontically-better pacifier", but our baby wouldn't take it, nor did it fit his mouth properly.

When I buy the next size up for our lil guy I will definitely buy the Philips AVENT BPA Free Soothie Pacifier again.

A nurse in the hospital gave this to my son when he was born. He won't take any other pacifier. When he fusses it soothes him immediately. I would be lost without it.

This was the pacifier that the hospital gave us. I did not give it to my daughter until she was 4 weeks old because I am breastfeeding and decided to hold off. She loves it now and won't take any other kind of pacifier so we went out and bought more. It does not interfere with breastfeeding and helps her to not use me as a pacifier when she's clearly done feeding. This is a lifesaver when we're out of the house and she's a little cranky. It calms her right down often putting her to sleep.

Got these from the hospital and while my son is only 1 month old, this is so far the only pacifier he has accepted. They hold up well, great quality, and my baby boy loves it.

Baby loves these pacifiers. I have in mulitple colors and all hold up well in sanitizer. Just like the one we got at the hospital, the only pacifier baby likes. Keeps her from crying.

I have to go out a lot with the baby, so I haven't found a string that goes with this paci, so when it falls from baby mouth is really annoying as there is no way of holding it and it falls on the floor often. I rather use the paci that has a plastic cover as I find it more hygienic even when the baby is not using it. I often find this paci full of lint and its a little hard for the baby to latch, plus it doesn't even say any where what size it is, as I purchased different sizes now they are all mixed up. My baby will take it like any other paci so is not a big deal
