      I was worried when I read all the reviews about these bottles leaking, but as long as the blue ring is in place the nipple and bottle make a tight seal and I have had no problems.
      The bottles are very durable and have not scuffed or discolored with many dishwasher cycles and use of the Avent sterilizer.
      The different size nipples are also nice, my only complaint is that the numbers are a little hard to read on the nipple as they are clear.

      Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

        I kept reading about these bottles leaking but decided to try them anyways and was very pleasantly surprised. I have been using them for 2 months now and they have NEVER LEAKED. I have used the 4oz and 9oz and both the newborn and slow flow nipples and they all worked perfectly. The bottles are easy to put together, just put in the ring and then screw on the top. They don't have a million pieces to clean or vents that leak and are wide so you can pour the formula in easily. My baby also loves the pacifiers that came in this set, he prefers them to other ones I have given him. I will be buying more of these bottles and pacifiers.

        Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

          The Avent system is great! This package is cheaper than purchasing everything separately. Their bottles are nice for going between bottle and breast, and you can change them into sippy cups when they are older.

          As long as you put the middle disk in, we haven't had any problems with leaking.

            I have mixed feelings about this set. The four ounce bottles and nipples were great. I can't stand the nine ounce bottles however. They leak. My sister-in-law bought the nine ounce bottles separately and had the same problem. I would suggest buying the four ounce bottles separately, and not buying the nine-ounce ones at all. In order to keep them from leaking all over the baby, you will have to fill it with formula and shake it over the sink and readjust until it stops leaking -- a total pain!

            Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
