Grip-and-twist throttle
An easy grip-and-twist throttle revs up the motor and sends your little one off in search of adventures. He’ll get all the driving and off-road fun he wants at a super safe 2.5 mph –fast enough for fun and slow enough for adults to walk behind. And, when he’s bigger and more experienced, you can remove the high speed lock-out to change the maximum speed to 5 mph in the forward direction!
Safety, Durability and Quality
Fisher-Price® Power Wheels® Fisher-Price® Power Wheels® Kawasaki KFX is one tough machine that’ll hold up to all-terrain driving! This ATV easily supports a maximum weight of 65 pounds. After a realistic throttle start, a rechargeable 12-volt battery kicks in to take this ride-on ATV a maximum of 2.5mph in both forward and reverse. Safety Braking System

    We purchased this 4 wheeler 2 months ago for my son's 3rd bday. It has been one of the BEST gifts we have purchased for our children (also have 9 yr old). Since we live in the country, we have dirtbikes, 4 wheelers, etc and our son always wants to "drive" or go on his own. This does it all...from concrete to gravel to the yard, up & down the hill (which is quite a hill I might add), around the trail of our property - its been great!!! I got it on clearance but would have GLADLY paid full price for it...one of the best toys EVER!!! Our little guy grins ear to ear every time he's on it :)

      My son is 2 and being around "real" ATV's he loves them. Has battery little 1st ride on and we decided to upgrade. Researched and what I read seem to have what wanted.
      He jumped right on and I thought the peddle operation would be difficult as he is used to push button on his and knows thats how you do the real ones but he proved me wrong!
      He loves he can go all over the yard; which is several acres and not even,just like everyone else and is going faster! (We still have him in low gear..hahaha)
      Easy to steer and easy on and off. Knows the forward and reverse buttons.
      Great transitional ride for any little rider!
      Just remember it takes them a little to figure out how to stop so watch your toes, cars, animals and areas that are risky.

      Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

        We bought this for my son on his 3rd birthday. He LOVES it!! We have a somewhat bumpy backyard with some hill and it gets along great. No problems at all. He has twin brothers who are 21mos and they ride it all over as well. We are actually going to buy each of them one for Christmas. My only issue is the battery doesn't last very long 1-2hrs tops. We just try to remember to charge it after every use. Other then that wouldn't change a thing.

        Great toy for the money. We acctually bought this and the girls version for their birhtdays a month ago. They love to race around the yard, up the hill, through the gravel, and around the garage. Time spent on the wheeler is great, the battery holds a charge much longer then antisipated. The kids started riding the wheelers at 1030 in the morning off and on, they were still going at 630 in the evening when my husband came home.

                  Bought this for my sons 4th birthday, he loves it, the battery doesn't hold a charge real well takes 14 hours to charge for about 1 hour of use. We do live on a hill though so it does power up it well and I'm sure is hard on the battery life. A year later now the reverse doesn't work.

                    At first we loved this for our 3 year old son! He rode it all over, and really had a great time. Sadly, it was within no time the wiring issues began. It would suddenly stop working, and he would be stuck in random places. Luckily,we did get the warranty package, and it refunded all of our money. I am going to purchase another one for him and it give it one more try! It was great when it worked.
