I finally found a solid colored seat. After looking and looking I found this maxi cosi seat that is solid black. I am not a big fan of all the busy prints. So far it has worked great. Not extremely heavy, but to me that all depends on the weight of your child rather than the seat itself. I really wanted to try out the Maxi-cosi Prezi, but wasn't ready to pay the extra high price, so I went with the Mico.

So lightweight and baby loves it! Easy to latch or not - snaps in and out of base with ease. Using it with the Uppababy Vista and it's a perfect match. Faric cover is so easy to wash and doesn't lose its shape, color or texture.

Def. recommend this infant seat!

My baby seems to love the car seat. I bought it mainly because it just looked very simple. It is very easy to keep clean. My daughter has had several blow outs (major poops) and my husband has been able to take the cover out and it is completely machine washable. Don't put it in the dryer cause it might shrink. The only thing I do not like is that I cannot buy a different color cover. Other than that I really recommend it.

This is a good car seat and it doesn't hurt that it looks good too. The padding is pretty good and my baby is comfortable in it and I'm very happy with it.

When I was reading reviews for this product before I purchased it, there were a lot of complaints about the small canopy and trouble with the car seat fully engaging into the base. Having used this seat for five months now, I definitely agree with those complaints.

Canopy: It would be much more user friendly if the canopy were longer or adjustable so that the parent could move it to shield the baby from the sun depending on the angle of the sun at that time. The canopy only comes out about so far. It's a pretty good length most of the time, but there are times when it does not fully block the sun. I compensate by having a light blanket ready to throw over the canopy to shield my baby.

Car Seat Engaging Into Base: You must be sure to hear the click when you snap the car seat into the base in your car. Sometimes, not often though, you will not hear the click. I have found it is best to pull the release lever as if I were removing the car seat from the base instead of trying to snap it into the base. This usually resets it and the car seat will snap in place. The problem with it seems to be that sometimes when you pull the lever to remove the seat, the base does not return to the normal position right away.

Stap Covers: This is a minor thing, but worth noting--the gray strap covers get stained pretty easily and, after washing them a few times, I took them off and did not put them back on anymore. Your baby will drool and spit up on them and the gray color is not realy conducive to use for more than a few days without needing a run through the wash so that's another thing to keep in mind.

Another thing worth noting is that I do not believe this is "lightweight" as the manufacturer claims. It's not very very heavy but I think it's comparable to most of the other car seats on the market and is not necessarily lighter than other ones. I compared the weight of this one to some of my friends' seats--one a Graco and another a Chicco--and we agreed that this was not lighter. Overall though, I'd recommend this car seat and think you'll be satisfied with it.

I haven't used it with my baby yet since she's not due for a couple of weeks. My husband and I have been practicing and playing with it and it's light and easy to use. It also has the added feature that it adapts to our very awesome city select baby jogger stroller. Other carriers adapt, but this one doesn't need a bunch of extra parts. Overall I think it's great so far.

This car seat is amazing! Small, lightweight, and simple. It was everything and more that we had hoped. We get compliments all the time on the color and design. We LOVE it and plan on buying the next size maxi cosi seat when our baby grows out of this one. I hope to love it just as much! We bought the maxi cosi stroller that goes with it and LOVE that as well.

Love our Maxi Cosi seat! It's super lightweight and very easy to remove from the base. I get lots of compliments on it and everyone is always asking me where I bought it. Would definitely buy again for a second child! I love how easily it snaps into my Quinny Buzz stroller, too.

Still have not used this as baby isn't born yet. But love the material of the car seat- it is very soft. Love the color as it was just what I was looking for. And the car seat is very light weight. Can't wait to try baby out in it.

is built differently than some cheaper car seats and does not clip onto certain travel systems. Just be sure your stroller or travel system is compatible with this seat as there are only a few.
