We bought this for our three year old because she loves playing with her big sisters strawberry shortcake sets. The two of them love to sit together and play. We thought it was about time to get her a set of her own and this was a perfect choice as it's small enough for her and doesn't come with too many pieces. We love ALL the strawberry shortcake sets. Much like when I was a young girl they smell of strawberries and that smell lasts for years. The items are always made well and built to last. Very satisfied with this purchase and everyone we've ever made with Toys R Us.

This is a cute toy and my kids like it because they are SS fans. They enjoy the movies and other toys, especially the mini dolls. The mailbox is a neat feature and the paper letters really fit through the slot in the front. The toy is cute and comes with a Pupcake, which is a plus. Problems, though, are that it is not that well made. The telescope keeps falling off the top, the basket doesn't go very far (the string doesn't even reach to the ground!), the fold up platform in the back keeps folding up when you are playing with it, making it fall over. The ladder also keeps falling off, and doesn't really fit in the holes it is supposed to. I'm thinking about gluing it. Problems aside, my kids are fighting over who gets a turn with it. So if you are a fan, you might want to put up with any problems.

      Product isn't bad and pretty good over all. The stairs that attaches to it comes off easily and upon closer examination doesn't fit that good. Not sure how it got warped, but it doesn't fit and stay like it should. Besides that all the aprts and pieces work fine.

                Bought this and several of the dolls for my daughters 4th Birthday. I was extremely disapppointed. My duaghter can't play with it because it keeps tipping over. And almost all the dolls have fallen apart. The legs and arms keep breaking off. We love Strawberry shortcake this has been such a disapppointment.

                The set is adorable. All the accessories are colorful and my daugter enjoys playing with them but at 4 doesn't have the patience to deal with the instability of the product. It continually folds up - no matter the surface she is playing on. That being said, I am purchasing the cafe & market because they don't sit on a 'hinged' base.
