This package comes with a lot to get you started. I am very happy with the g diaper product. They have worked well size wise for my baby. I am about to use them for baby #2 and they are still in good condition. The little tabs on the plactic snap in liners are fraying on some. But I think that was user error because I was getting lazy and was just washing and drying them with the covers.... not a good idea. The newborn size I like because it is small for the small little baby bottom and they hold in the blow-outs also. I think this is a perfect deal to get started.

I was disappointed this did not come with any cloth liners and I had to purchase those seperately. I had to buy a 6 pack for the 12 tiny gpants plus 6 for the little gpants.

I don't know if it's the fact that my son ( currently 3 weeks and 3 days) doesn't cry when he's wet and shifts about when he poos but still doesn't cry or if the diapers really don't work but I find that he's often wet through his clothes if he's slept through the diaper for a feeding or two. More often than not he's wetting through them completely and I continously have to wash the liners and the cloth inserts. I will use the small gpants once he's older and be able to make a more through review as for now I"m considering another diaper type. Also the velcro sticks to EVERYTHING in the dryer and the velcro is starting to come apart from the fabric after 2 weeks of washings.

I have been using these dippers for a year. My little girl is 13 months and I will never go back to Traditional diapers. There is a little more work but its worth it, yes there are blow out but no where near the amount of the other. My son had all kinds of rashes and my daughter dosent. They have saved me money as well cause the biodegradable refills are way cheaper. There is nothing bad I can think of for these diapers. Like I said I will never go back to traditional diapers. These are the best product I have ever used! (she has been in size med since she was 3 months for almost a year. July 4 will be a year. so they are very durable.)

I wish I could say I loved these diapers, I wanted them to work. I bought the newborn set - and found them to be completely unbreathable. The package says the nylon insert for the regular diapers and for the newborn diapers is breathable. I found them to be the equivalent of a plastic bag. Going to try a different brand.

We started with gdiapers when we brought our daughter home from the hospital at 6 lbs, 4 oz. The newborn gpants worked fine with the disposable inserts, though they were bulky. They worked less well with the cloth liners, leaking almost every time. At first I was concerned about the quality of the cloth liners, but once our baby put on another pound, we put her in the size smalls, and the cloth has worked great ever since. It seems to be an issue of fit with the newborn gpants- they are a little stiff. If you use them, they work best with the disposable inserts and with the little snaps (to clear the umbilical cord stump) undone.
The other thing to consider with the newborn diapers is that 6 will not be enough for a newborn, even if some of the changes allow for reusing the gpants (though since there aren't snap-in liners for the newborn gpants).
All in all, the smalls are great- save yourself the stress in those early weeks if you have a little newborn and wait until 7-8 lbs so you can just use those.

I love GDiapers. We got the newborn bundle and were so happy. Our little one was 7lbs 4oz when she was born, and we used the ting g pants for about a month. When we upgraded to the Smalls it was super easy. We have 10 small covers and I think 16 or 18 snap in liners. It seems about right. We do laundry often, but the covers don't need to be washed every time. We actually wash them more then we probably need to. Our little girl doesn't get diaper rash with the gdiapers (we use disposables on occasion and she gets HORRIBLE diaper rash when we do-we were given a TON of disposable diapers and feel like we should use them up too). The GDiapers also hold up WAY better then the disposable diapers. She has only had one actual "blowout" in a gdiaper...but when she is in a disposable she has them often! We live in a somewhat remote area, so the inserts are a little harder to come by, but it is totally worth the effort! They are also a little more work, but not enough to make them at all inconvenient! I can't say enough good about them. I read a review that they didn't work as well for long skinny babies, but our little girl is 75%ile for height and 25%ile for weight, and they are great! Seriously can't say enough good about them.

I was expecting great things from this system. The tiny Gpants left huge marks on my baby's hips from the elastic. She was not even 8 lbs when we brought her home. We only used them once or twice. Now we're into the small GPants and they leak all the time on the sides, even when we change them frequently. I bought both the cloth inserts and the biodegradable inserts and they leak equally. Not only do all three parts of the diaper then need to be washed, but her clothes need to be changed and washed as well. I'm really disappointed, overall.
