This Dreambaby Wooden Expandable gate is a simple solution to preventing your little ones from accessing areas of potential danger. Extremely versatile, this attractive Espresso colored New Zealand Pine gate, is adjustable and will fit 30 48 openings. For those really wide areas that need to be blocked off, you can even join two gates together to cover an area up 86.5. Simple to install and its easy to use with its one handed opening mechanism. It is hardware mounted so there is no potential tripping hazard to get in the way. It is 32 high and it neatly fits into any décor without looking heavy. Keeping your kids safer and out of harms way has never been easier.

I've had this gate in my home for about 8 years. Mine is the same style, just in a natural wood. I use this gate to keep my Jack Russell Terriers in the den. At times I may have 5 terriers pushing at the gate to get out the back door. It's held up through all their abuse. I am buying another one for the kitchen-hall door. I certainly got my moneys worth out of the one I have....and it keeps on ticking!!!

I'm a very picky person when it comes to buying things. I research everything I buy to make sure it's the best option. I am very pleased with this gate because it works, it's not ugly gray metal, it's good quality, and it versatile (top of stairs, expands, hallway, or doorway gate and can swing both ways or one way if you want). It's also super easy to use. I have no issues with holding the baby and opening/closing with one hand. It doesn't get any easier than this! I have it placed at the top of my stairs (secured to the uneven walls) and feel that my toddler is safe behind it.

Installation was easy however, product is cheap and flimsy, gate does not slide open easily and can not be opened by an adult with a baby on the hip. Need both hands to open and after a struggle...we have tried oiling it, and hopefully it will work while it wears in a little, if not it will be replaced. Too expensive and would look at something else in my opinion.

This was a simple installation. We used it successfully for 6 years at the top of our stairs. My Two sons couldn't figure out how to open it but it was easy enough for adults to use. It is sturdy and did it's job well.
