Not such a good product. When I bought it, I put in brand new batteries and set it to the "flashing" setting; however, nothing happened. The same thing happened when I set it on the "glowing" setting. My husband tried to put in different batteries twice, but we got the same results. We sent it back to the manufacturer, explaining the issues and requesting that they be fixed and the message board be sent back to us. We have yet to receive another one or any kind of response whatsoever. I would not recommend this toy for any children, considering that it doesn't work and is a bad toy.

I really liked this! I have a stainless fridge so I need to use rare earth magnets for anything to stick, and fortunately this does use the extra strong magnets. I use it on a daily basis for lists and notes and things, and it works pretty well. It's not perfect, but I'd recommend it.

pros: easy to catch other's attention when you set it to blink, uses super strong magnets so it'll stick to anything, is super cute compared to normal boring message boards

cons: difficult to erase - you have to press pretty hard, or use a real magic board eraser, sort of small for large grocery lists. It's better for quick small notes.

Overall I am pleased with this. If it were larger with a real eraser, I'd give it 5 stars.

i cant even start with this. my mom bought this for me at toys r us. its supposed to light up.. am i right? well, i opened it in the car on the way home, i wrote on it, i put batteries in also, but, sadly.. it didnt light up. so.. i returned it and bought gloom beach jackson jeckyll instead.
