It is a nice shade. It is sleek looking and does not look tacky in the car. It rolls back up well and is protective from UV rays.

I put the shade on the window with the tabs on the top, not by the suction. It was leaving a mark on my tinted windows and was ruining the rubber where the window goes into. I now only use it with the suctions once in awhile. The tint I have on my car windows is usually enough to keep the sun out of my baby's eyes.

I installed one of the shades in my car in December, and by February some type of glue had leaked out of the roller part all down my door (and won't come off). The suction cup was permanently attached to the window, and I had to rip the shade in order to remove it, which wasn't hard to do, as it is a cheap, flimsy piece of plastic. Customer service was good, offering me a new pack at no cost, however I don't want to have more glue running down my car door. If it can't take the heat in the winter time, no way can it survive the summer months in Georgia.

We purchased these a week ago and installed them in the car immediately. It has been record setting heat here the past week, and the heat and sun were a huge complaint in the car from my kiddos. With a baby due in a few weeks, I thought sunshades for the car would be a good idea. I didn't read reviews before buying about the glue issue, but I can tell you we have had no problems with glue. We have had them open the whole time, and we have them installed at the top using the window and not the suction cups, but the suction cup is being used at the bottom to hold in place. No melting of anything, not glue or suction cups, and the sun is kept out of my kids eyes very well. Only problem I have is that I wasn't expecting it to block so much of the view out the windows, as many of the shades are pretty see through, but it seems to help my kids and they are happier, so it works for me. Maybe they have fixed the glue issue - because in our record setting over 100 degree heat, I can't imagine that if there was a melting issue it wouldn't have happened by now.

I noticed the glue melting on one of the sunshades right away, it adhered to my window. A couple weeks later, after a cool night here, I went out and pulled the other shade down for a ride w my daughter, the glue had adhered to the inside of the roll and therefore when i pulled it down, it made a huge rip in the shade. I finally contacted Brica about the issues and they are sending me replacements. But after reading all the reviews, it looks like these just aren't well with any type of weather!

I would have expected a company that makes a product to block the sun in a car would have made it capable of dealing with the heat that the sun/car combination creates. Unfortunately, like many others have found out, Brica used a hot-reflow glue inside the shade which melts and ruins the shade. I can't believe the idiocy (or duplicity) of a company that would do such a thing. I wish I had read the reviews here before purchase, but I bought it in the store.
If negative stars were possible this would be a -5.

This window shade is made for a car window so that is where we put them. The sun melted the glue inside the plastic and the glue got all over the shade. It doesn't close now. Weird. You would think it would be able to handle heat.

I don't know anything about the shades. It was bought for a friend of my daughter, that is having twins. I actually thought the shade was for the baby room, but my daughter said it was for the car. We didn't have things available like that well I had my two children. But,I thought it would be nce as a gift.

The shade broke as soon as I rolled my window up and I had no choice but to go buy a new one and use the suction cups. So far the suction cups have worked fine, but it's only been a week. After reading the other reviews I'm now wondering how long these will last.
