This makes great bubbles but doesn't have a retainer built in for the bubble solution. Also, the design of the mower is too light. My daughter couldn't push thru the grass without it tipping over. I took this back for a sturdier one that was mechanical, not motorized.

After reading the 5 star review, I decided to buy this product instead of the Fisher Price model. I liked the idea that the bubbles would blow w/o the machine needing to be pushed (my 2 year old has a tough time pushing it when the grass needs to be mowed.) The first one I bought had a blower that wouldn't turn to release the bubbles. I returned it and tried a second one. The fan to blow the bubbles stopped working after about 10 minutes of use, and the motor completely died the second day (wouldn't even turn on.) Not to mention it is extremely ugly; not even cute to push along behind Daddy! Do not waste your time or money on this mower!

I got this for my Nephew for Easter. He loves it! The nice thing about it is that you don't have to keep it moving for the bubbles to come out like some of the other bubble mowers. It does run on batteries but they seem to last a while before needing to be replaced. I would highly recommend this mower.
