I bought this camera when we moved out of our studio apartment and was very pleased until the 2nd month the USB fell into the monitor. Trying to get the company to fix it under warrenty was nightmare so i gave up.

I than had a second child and rebough the same model so i could have two cameras and a new working monitor. ONE month after use the same thing happend!

The company would not help me fix this problem.
Needless to say DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!

Cameras are great, running on battery is great, VOX mode is great, Multiple cameras with one monitor is great, but the cords are absolutely terrible . The micro usb connection is at a right angle and the connection is so poorly done that after a few dozen cycles of adults unplugging it, it pulls out. With out a cord, the system is useless. This is our second set and have had this happen to both cameras both times. If they could fix this they would have a winner.
System probably ok if you don't ever plan to travel with it.

Overall I liked the monitor while it worked. My only complaint was that it had a lot of feedback noise. However, it broke after 18 months of use so I would not purchase this product again or recommend it.

We bought this and for the first year it was great. After that, the usb port fell into the camera. We had it replaced under warranty and the same thing just happened with the warranty replacement 8 months later. Until they reinforce the usb port on the circuit board, this thing will continue to fail. I didnt get the runaround on the first replacement, but my guess is I won't be able to get the warranty model replaced...

The VOX feature never worked properly. The monitor keeps coming on every few seconds, which is annoying when you are trying to sleep. Customer service just told me that I must have it close to something causing interference, which wasn't the case. Battery runs out in an hour. It got knocked off the counter and onto the carpet twice and no longer works. It has great features and I was happy with the picture and night vision, just expected it to last longer than a year.

Charging port comes loose and falls into monitor within the first year. Customer service will give you the run around and make it as difficult as possible to get a replacement.

Overall this product is everything you really need in a wireless baby monitor. It has a lot of great features, such as being able to capture a picture of your precious lil one,and even talking back to her with the handheld just incase she needs a little reassuring that mommy is still there and it even has night vision. I love how you can add additional cameras if needed. The only thing thats a lil annoying is the noise feedback and sometimes the screen has a few glitches, but other than that i would definetely suggest this camera to everyone.

We had one of the Summer monitors from when my oldest was born and didnt like it from the beginning. It had horrible battery life and major static. The cord recently became temperamental as well. So given all that and the addition of another child, we purchased this one per the recommendation of a friend. I am SO pleased! The monitor is smaller than my cell phone and you can carry it around in your pocket if you are doing things around the house. Battery life is awesome. It might not last the whole night but we leave it on base for the night anyway. It does last several hours off base during the day and even longer on power save mode. LOVE the talk back feature especially with my 2 yr old. He actually listens when we tell him to stop messing around and go to sleep or if I am nursing the baby, I can tell him I'll be there in a few minutes. We havent added any other cameras yet but my friend that has multiple cameras, says it works great. Also, we havent had any major problems with wireless internet as some people say. On occasion (maybe twice a week), pages won't load but if you shut monitor off and back on, it'll load.

We purchased this monitor in May have experienced nothing but disappointment and frustration with both the quality of product and customer service from lorex. As for the product: The base of the cameras is so light-weight that the top of the camera topples over when you attempt to adjust it. The picture on the monitor is small and grainy. It's comical to think you would take a picture with this camera- we can barely make out what our children are doing.

About a month ago, the piece within the monitor that attaches it to the charging base came loose, rending it unchargeable and thus unuseable.I sent an email to customer service at lorex and waited three days. No response. I called and waited for 15 minutes to speak with a human being, who was rude and rushed. I was instructed to send by email various info on the monitor. After sending the information, I waited over a week for a response and emailed again. I was told to mail in the faulty monitor and that we would receive a new monitor within a week of receiving the broken one. why were we not instructed to send in the monitor a week ago when the paperwork was submitted? And now I have to pay to send your deficient product back to you? Unreal.

Run, don't walk, to a different monitoring system.
