At first, frustrating trying to figure out how it works. Then I googled the name and found it on this website and began to read. I won't repeat instructions, as they are already there, but it's a great water gun at a great price!

Can't wait to give them to a bunch of 10 year olds:))))

Once I tried and read about the trigger being for show, I read further to read that you have to pull the front of the gun out (straight in front of you and at first it may be difficult to get loose) and it's a pumping action. Once I tried it, the gun was GREAT! Instructions for people, please!!!!!

once you figure out how to work it its easy and shoots great. found out that the orange trigger is only for gimmick. you have to pull out the orange handle and push it back in to get it to operate. it really shoots far i consider it the sniper of my water guns.

Fill bottle and replace.
Grip the pistol grip with your dominant hand, and the orange handle with your non-dominant hand.
Pull the orange handle inward towards you.

Everyone that rated this item low due to their confusion about how it works must have all attended the same special needs picnic water fight. Not a wet body in the bunch, I bet.
If keeping dry in a water blaster fight is the goal then all of those buddies are all "winners".

The trigger is clearly part of the 1-piece body casting, with a basic orange paint job to make it look like a gun. The "barrel"& 2nd hand grip clearly have movement, and play a basic yet vital role in the use of the toy. I pulled a muscle laughing at the guy who had the gun completely disassembled before he realized the trigger was fake. Great stuff.
This blaster comes with a sufficient water bottle, but almost any beverage bottle works as extra "clips". A 2-liter bottle offers max water reserves and doubles as a rifle butt stock. pretty sweet.

As added testimony, we own a small arsenal of this very model, and my ENTIRE family enjoys this product from my 2 year old daughter to my 70 year old mother, and all of the combat ready kids in between. Including me, who holds a high standard in water warfare.
If your budget is less than the value of a pressurized air water blaster, this is the best bet for you. Unless you are missing an arm, then Super Soaker makes a motorized model that is right up your alley.

found it very difficult how to operate...took out all the .screws....took it all apart and realized the orange trigger was just for show...then went on the internet to figure out..took me about 20 minutes to figure out....you have to extend and pull out the front end of the gun to pump the water and then it works real great....should come with some directions....

It took us about 15 frustrating minutes to figure out that unless you extend the water gun, you're never going to get it to work. The trigger is just for show, this works by pumping the front part of the toy.
