This Caillou is is PERFECT! It was purchased for our 1 year 21 month old. He is a great size and looks exactly like the character! My little girl had the squeaky bath toy Caillou (we never used it in the bath though) and carried it every where. We saw this one when we bought the bath toy in the store. At the time it was [$](in store) and we simply didn't want to spend that much. However,she became very attached to the squeaky toy and we accidentally left her squeaky Caillou at home when we went out of town and she cried the entire way there screaming for him! So I took her into the toy store and as soon as she saw this one on the top shelf she went crazy! She LOVES him! She talks about him all of the time and takes him everywhere! He is worth EVERY penny for sure! I wish we hadn't wasted our money on the squeaky one because this one is the perfect size and the quality is perfect. The only thing is his hat is not the characters hats color and it doesn't stay on well. But lets be honest, when you think of Caillou you think of his little bald head any way! Plus, on a side note, he has gotten dirt, food, chocolate ect. on him and his clothes and body spot clean nicely with a baby wipe! His face, hands, sand permanent shoes are all plastic but his body is a soft doll body. A wonderful doll and although at first I was a bit put off by the price, he is worth it.

I bought this doll for my daughters 2nd Birthday, she is obsessed with Caillou so you could imagen her face when she unwrapped it! well Its been 4 weeks with this doll and she doesn't really carry it to much because I'm always placing it on a shelf so she hasn't been rough playing with it and its arm and Head Fell OFF!!! the fabric that holds the body pieces started to tear in a way that I cant stich it up! the fabric is in strands now! Im so sad for her now because she sees caillou and says " Oh Caillou Sad"

      My daughter got this doll for her birthday. She loves Caillou and loved carrying the doll with her where ever she went. Having it for only a short time the arm tore off. I had to sew it twice and then use fabric tape to keep it on. Now she thinks Caillou has a bandaid on his arm. Doll was made poorly, but she loves him. I think maybe the cloth caillou would be better to get even though they are not as cute.

      My 3 year old son enjoys watching the show and absolutely loves the Caillou doll. However, I purchased this doll for Christmas and the head has completely fallen off within 2 months of receiving it. I have tried to stitch it back on but there is no use at saving it. I would not recommend purchasing this doll as I will not purchase it again. Poor quality for an expensive price.

      Caillou is just great. But, the makers forgot a very important issue. The owners of this dolls are little kids. My husband has had to fix Caillou's arms twice already. This time he actually sewed the arms to his body so my daugher will stop crying about Caillou getting hurt.

          My 3 year old have the doll for 2 months and the arm (where the vinyl meets the cloth) ripped, making the arm dangle without repair. No rough play with the doll. Other than that, it was a cute doll. Just wish it was made better

              Very disappointed in this product that was not cheap. One of his legs fell off and cannot be re-attached and this was only after about a week of playing with. Unfortunately we no longer have the receipt or box that it came with.

                    This doll was a Christmas gift. She had it not even 24 hours and the arm ripped off. We returned it and got another only to have the same thing happen after having the doll out of the box for ten minutes. We had to tie wrap and super glue the arm. My daughter loves this doll and we didn't want to dissapoint her again. Very poor quality

                      This is a great doll and we love that there are finally Caillou products on the market. My only complaint is that the hat does not stay on. My daughter spends more time looking for Caillou's hat than actually playing with him.
