The Power Wheels Fisher-Price Ride On Lil Mater is a 6 volt single seat sit-in toddler battery powered ride on based on the movie license Disney Pixar Cars 2. It is specifically designed for toddlers with it's easy to use operation. It goes 2 mph forward and can be used on grass and hard surfaces. It features a soundbox with bilingual sounds and phrases from the movie.

    We were preparing ourselves for a long evening putting it together. It ended up taking about 15 minutes total. Couldn't have been any easier!

            My Grandson (2 yrs)LOVES Mater and this was a perfect birthday gift! It has a little bit of a kick to it when it starts so he is a afraid to push the button but is content pushing it around the house for now. Easy assembly and the stickers were not as difficult as some have said. I would have to agree with others that it should have some type of seatbelt. Can't wait till he works up the courage to actually ride it and then look out!

              Bought this for my grandson for his 1st Birthday. It was easy to assemble and looks like it is built really well. My only down fall on this, I wish they would do a foot pedal instead of having to hold down the red button. At age 1 it is hard for them to do. He is 15mos old now and has figured the button out, but cannot hold down for two long. He does great on a fourwheeler that has a gas pedal. I am sure he will figure it out soon enough. Beside this he loves to get in and out of it and push it. Who does not love mater!!

                  I found it very easy to assemble. The self-stick decals could be packaged a little better; my sheet was folded in half from corner to corner. It took a little work rubbing the creases out of them while applying. The Manual could be a little clearer on the charging time for the 6 Volt battery.

                  One speed forward, No reverse, and it may take time for a little-one to learn how to push and hold down the red button on the steering wheel to make the car move.

                  I don't think you'll go wrong buying this.

                  The product is pretty good for toddlers from about 20 mos. to three years. Although, finding a toddler that is three, and not over the stated weight-limit will be tricky. My 2 year old loves it, however, getting him to understand the accelerator has been challenging. It is located on the steering wheel, and instead of holding it down to ride, he likes to push it sparingly, so you actually get a jerking motion. But, he's getting better. Probably should come with seat strap. And, the weight limit should probably be increased to 45 lbs. Also, one more thing that may make it better, would be a reversing function such as the one on the Lightning McQueen Car.
