I bought this Pirate Fort for my 4 year son and he loves it! He would've been happy having all the characters and bad guys, but there's so much more. The box mentioned a working cannon, but it has a lot of push buttons that activate doors that fly open, a trap door, a crows nest that unsuspectingly dumps its occupants, a dungeon that skeletal hands pop out of, and a pull back car. It's not perfect, but a lot of fun and pretty sturdy for a kid that can be rough. One of the characters is too wide for the trap door, and Daphne doesn't stand very well, but they all hang on the ladders just fine and has given my scooby fan son hours and hours of enjoyment! It's his favorite toy!

I bought the Scooby Doo haunted mansion and it was so terrible that I returned it the next day, so I was excited to see this. My two kids ages 7 and 4 put their money together to buy this toy and it's just as bad. The floor is made of a flimsy cardboard and the base of the house is made of cheap plastics just like the mansion was. The only positive thing I can say about it is that it comes with 7 Scooby Doo action figures and a van. It has kept both my kids entertained for the past day so this alone makes me happy. I really wish they would come out with a better design for both this and the mansion because they are so very few Scooby toys on the market. I wouldn't mind paying more money if the toys were of better quality but for the price that they are charging for this toy I am really disappointed.

    Son loves Scooby Doo and was excited to get this set which does include the people. The only problem we have is plastic netting doesn't stay in very well, but it hasn't hindered playing with the fort.

          We were expecting the pirate fort to come with a complete first and second floor like the Mystery mansion. Apparently there are two different versions. The one we bought at TRU only comes with 1/2 the fort.

          It also does not come with a Treasure Chest which disappointed my son.

                I bought this for my 5-year old grandson for Christmas, as he's a big Scooby fan, but it's not quite what I expected. I thought it would have a back side that would close up & make it more portable. It doesn't.

                The trap door doesn't work properly & keeps coming off, & though the characters are cute, they don't stand well... they keep falling over. The canon doesn't mount to the floor, so it moves & falls off every time you shoot it, & more than one "bullet" would be nice. The top floor area is kind of small, so you can't put many people up there. Also, the product description makes it sound like there's a treasure chest included, but there isn't. That would be a nice addition.

                It's a great idea, with great bones, but for the price, I just think they could have made it so much better.
