My son wanted me to purchase this controller on his behalf. He specifically chose this particular one because it was a play and charge kit and it was silver (he wanted to have a unique color to distinguish his controller from those of his siblings). Well, what arrived was in fact a play and charge kit, but it was black. I thought about returning it, but my eight year old did not want to wait any longer. I'm disappointed that he saved up his own money and didn't get what he really wanted in the end.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
