Got these bottles so figured I would get the pads too and wow. Went to a baby fair and got all different brands of pads. I have tried them all at least once so I could see which I liked best. Hands down it was the Tommee Tippee pads. They stay in place and seem to absorb more, and I love the little case.

I started by using the disposables. They are thin, shift around, and they don't seem to want to stay together. They also were not very soft. After about a week of those, I decided to switch to the washables- even worse! Thin and abrasive, it was like sandpaper for nipples! We were out the day I tried them and I had to stop to buy myself a replacement. I could not stand them any longer!

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I originally wanted to purchase the disposables as I am a first time mum and I didn't have any preferences for pads. I use the Tommee Tippee bottles when I pump and thought I'd give these a try. The disposables are a little itchy, especially around the edges and didn't leak for me (I have a pretty strong let-down.) They moved around a lot, but I seem to have that problem with all disposables not having a sticky enough tape. I like the washable pads the most. Even though they are thin, they do show through thin shirts, but not nearly as much as disposables do. I do sometimes have leakage, but like I said, my let down is fairly strong. They wash very well. The storage pack is nice, good for the diaper bag. Liked these disposables better than Medela ones. I also didn't have as much of a problem with fibers sticking to my nipples

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I love this set...it comes with everything a mommy needs when she starts breastfeeding and traveling!...Every mother should have one of these on their registry!...The traveling bag is so convenient to put in diaper bag for outings!...The washable pads are great to!...and the disposable ones are good to. A absolute must have!... :)
