The monitor has given me issues since day one. The only redeeming feature has been the movement pad, which we only used for a few days as we ended up cosleeping. The monitor itself has failed with every feature: video, sound and the ability to turn on and off. The range is slacking and the alarm will go off for no reason, even without the motion pad on. the battery life has always been about an hour and a half and will not turn off when the alarm letting you know is not silencable. I finally got around to trying to replace it, bought the warranty, and I'm a few days over, so I am stuck with this overpriced monitor that has brought me nothing but a headache.

We purchased this monitor for the SIDS pad and after reviewing the ratings online. We've been pretty disappointed with it. The SIDS pad needs constant movement; so if the child is sleeping it will go off all the time. It also alarms when the unit is not tripped, waking up your child, and anyone else in the house! We use it as a simple monitor. Wish we had been able to test out the equipment first.

I've just bought this monitor and we really loved it. My 1 month old baby boy now can sleep at his room and my husband and I keep calm and comfortable, cause we know how he is. The vox activation system is fantastic cause the noise from the set doesn't annoy us all the time, only when it's necessary.

Great product...my son is 18 months old. We use it every night and for naps and have had no issues. Monitor gives you a great piece of mind that your baby is alright. Video and sound also work great. This help me transition my son into his nursery with no stress. I actually felt more comfortable with him in his crib then in my room because I know this is monitoring his breathing.

We did turn off the ticking noise because I couldn't sleep with it on, so if he does quit breathing an alarm just goes off. The only thing you have to be careful of is making sure that the sensor stays in the middle of the mattress when you change the sheets...if it moves to far to one side it may not be able to pick up the baby's breathing.

Great product...no complaints!

Absolutely don't think my daughter would be here without this product. She is 4 months old and the movement sensor has gone off once in the middle of the night which makes me believe it was not a fluke. The alarm goes off on the camera and the monitor as to wake up parent and child. When it happened I saw her jump so I think she did stop breathing...I am telling everyone I know they need this.

The only con I can think of is the camera doesnt have anything to hang on the wall. My husband had to make a makeshift shelf to put it on so we could actually see my daughter.

Other than that would highly recommend!

Not a good product. You don't get what you need for the price you pay. Very loud and keeps waking the baby up even on the lowest setting.

Love love love! We have used this product since the day we came home from the hospital and it has given us total peace of mind. It is easy to install and use. We do not worry about checking on the baby to see if he is breathing etc like many parents worry about in the early days. We love the color video and have no complaints about reception.I would recommend this product to anyone.

My friends told me about this monitor and I was excited to get because of the sensor pad. I am a first time mom and I felt like the sensor pad will give me peace of mind. Unfortunately, my son was moving a lot and I was unable to use it. Everytime he'd move away from the pad in his sleep, the alarm would go off. I guess it is a good feature, just not good for us. I am currently on my third unit and ready to return it and exchange it for something else. First one worked fine for the first 3 months untill the parent unit stopped charging. Exchanged it for another one which did exactly the same thing. Exchanged it for another one and in this one, the sound is echoed and is breaking up. In general, the video is not of a great quality because is pixelated, and it freezes from time to time. One of my monitors was color and two are not and I have no idea why. Also, the down size to it is that the crib unit cannot be attached to a railing or put anywhere on a surface because you won't be able to see your baby. You have to put it in the crib. It was fine until now, my son is now 8 months old and can reach for it and get entangeled in the cord. Many other monitors from other companies are mountable in some way or other. So in my opinion this monitor is not the best one, and it certainly is not worth close to $300.

The picture isn't as clear as I expected it to be, but I can find make out my child in the video. Also, the movement detector would go off (scaring us to death) and our child would be sleeping soundly still breathing away. We stopped using the movement detector and like it just fine. It is still used nightly, now for a year, and works as good today as it did a year ago.
